Minister of Education Conducts Surprise Tour of Schools in Dakahlia)

Mr. Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, conducted a surprise inspection tour of several schools in Dakahlia Governorate to monitor the regularity of classes and ensure the implementation of regulations governing the educational process.

The Minister was accompanied during the tour by Dr. Ahmed El-Mohammadi, Assistant Minister for Strategic Planning and Follow-up and Supervisor of the Central Administration for the Minister's Office Affairs.

The tour included a visit to Ahmed Lotfy El-Sayed Secondary School for Boys in the Sinbillawin Educational Directorate, which has 2012 students. Minister Mohamed Abdel Latif attended the morning assembly and listened to the school's morning broadcast alongside the students, commending the school principal, teachers, and staff for maintaining student discipline.

The Minister also inspected the classrooms, observed student interaction with teachers, and listened to their opinions on the curriculum and the secondary school certificate system. He also held a discussion with the students about programming and artificial intelligence, urging them to focus on studying the subject on the Japanese "Curio" platform, which, after passing the "TOEFL" exam, qualifies them to obtain a certified certificate from Hiroshima University in Japan, thus providing them with decent job opportunities after graduation.

Minister Mohamed Abdel Latif also monitored the students' academic achievement level and the regular implementation of weekly assessments.

The Minister then visited Sinbillawin Secondary School for Girls, which has 3058 students. During his inspection of the classrooms, he held a discussion with first-year secondary school students about their studies and the curriculum, especially programming and artificial intelligence, emphasizing that programming will be an essential element in all future professions. During his conversation with the students, the Minister emphasized the importance of studying history in secondary school, explaining that awareness of the nation's history forms the basis of belonging and pride in Egyptian identity.

The Minister then visited Al-Zariqi Joint Primary School in the Sinbillawin Educational Directorate. During his visit, he was keen to assess the students' reading and writing levels, and directed that weekly assessments be regularly administered to both male and female students and that their progress be monitored to ensure their academic achievement and the smooth running of the educational process at the school.

Following this, the Minister visited Taha Hussein Secondary School for Boys in the West Mansoura Educational Directorate, where he reviewed attendance rates and weekly assessments. He listened to the students' opinions about the Japanese platform for learning programming and discussed with them the job opportunities available to those who master this field.

The Minister's tour also included Mohamed Gamal El-Din Othman Preparatory School for Boys in the West Mansoura Educational Directorate, which has 956 students. During his visit, he was keen to assess the students' academic performance.

The Minister also visited Sandoub Secondary School for Girls in the West Mansoura Educational Directorate, which has 810 students. During his inspection, he reviewed the student-to-teacher ratio and the students' comprehension of the subjects.

During his visit to the school, the Minister directed that certificates of appreciation be awarded to female students who achieve high levels in programming on the platform, as an incentive for them to continue studying the subject. He affirmed that the Ministry places great importance on students studying this subject so that their abilities and skills are aligned with future careers. During the meeting, the minister held an open discussion with a number of female students about their future aspirations, emphasizing that the ministry has been keen to comprehensively update the curricula to keep pace with international education systems.
