The Ministry of Education announces the operations room report on the first day of the second round exams

The second round exams to complete the high school certificate for the academic year 2023/2024 started this morning, as high school students in both the literary and scientific sections took the exam in the Arabic language during the first period with a total number of (12544) thousand male and female students, and in the second period, students took the exam in the religious education subject with (2628) male and female students.

Students of the Schools of Excellence for Science and Technology also took the second round exam in the religious education exam with one student, while only one student from the schools for the blind took the second round exam in the Arabic language (first paper).

Dr. Ahmed Daher, Deputy Minister, General President of the General Secondary Examinations, was keen, before the start of the exams, to communicate with all directors of the educational directorates present in the local operations rooms, and he also reassured the presence of representatives of the Ministry of Interior; To secure the headquarters of the traffic committees in all governorates.

The Deputy Minister stressed the need to follow up on all stages of the second round of high school exams, starting with printing the questions, and transferring them to the exam booklet distribution centers, then the exam progress committees, and the system and monitoring committees.

Members of the electronic cheating combat team in the central operations room were able to monitor 4 cases of cheating during the Arabic language exam, as a female student was caught in a committee in the Zawiya Education Administration in Cairo Governorate while attempting to cheat electronically using a mobile phone, and another female student was caught in a committee in the Abu Tesht Education Administration in Qena Governorate for possessing a mobile phone, and another male student was caught in a committee in the Abu Tesht Administration in Qena Governorate while cheating using an earphone, and another female student was caught in a committee in the Dirb Negm Administration in Sharqia Governorate for possessing a mobile phone and using it for electronic cheating.

A male student was also caught in a committee in the Qena Education Administration in Qena Governorate while attempting to cheat electronically using a mobile phone during the religious education exam.

The phones used, the earphones were seized, and the necessary legal measures were taken against these mentioned students, and Ministerial Resolution No. (34) of 2018 regarding the regulation of exam cancellation and deprivation conditions, and Law No. (205) of 2020 regarding combating acts of disruption of exams were implemented.

The Ministry of Education and Technical Education stresses that students should not use any of the various means of cheating, stressing the need to confront any attempts to cheat, and take legal measures against any violations that occur in exams.

It is scheduled that secondary school students in both the literary and scientific sections will take the second round exam tomorrow, Sunday, August 25, 2024, in the second foreign language and the national education subject.

Students of schools for the gifted in science and technology will also take the exam in the national education subject, while students of schools for the blind will take the Arabic language exam (second paper) in the first period.
