Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education, met, at the Ministry's General Office, with a delegation from the "Decent Life" Foundation, with the aim of discussing aspects of cooperation between the Ministry and the Foundation.
At the beginning of the meeting, the minister welcomed the attendees, stressing that the "Decent Life" project is the first national project of its kind in Egypt and the world, noting that the initiative includes many axes aimed at community development and raising the quality of life, including the education axis to achieve and raise the quality of education and build The human.
During the meeting, the minister presented a number of files that the ministry puts on its work agenda, in order to serve the objectives of the educational process at various stages and grades, and to advance them in order to achieve the state’s goals in the field of education in general; The Minister reviewed everything related to "Our School Channels", the Distinguished Egypt Schools project, as well as teacher training, Nile schools, and Egyptian-Japanese schools.
For their part, the delegation of the “Decent Life” Foundation reviewed during the meeting a proposal for the Foundation’s participation in spreading the culture of community work and volunteering in schools in coordination with the Ministry. The institution is located in Egypt.
For her part, Aya Omar, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Foundation for a Good Life, confirmed the Foundation's keenness to spread the culture of volunteering among school students at all educational levels, and that awareness campaigns will take a simplified form that students of all ages can absorb by including it in school activities, in addition to the participation of volunteers within all governorates of the Republic.
