Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education, and Dr. Ayman Mukhtar, Governor of Dakahlia, held a meeting today with education leaders and directors of educational departments in the governorate. To follow up the educational process and review procedures related to the discipline and regularity of the second semester for the academic year 2023/2024.

At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Reda Hegazy expressed his happiness at visiting Dakahlia Governorate, stressing his keenness to attend these meetings that enhance ensuring the achievement of the goals of the educational process at the republic level.

For his part, Dr. Ayman Mukhtar, Governor of Dakahlia, welcomed Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education, praising his efforts and full support for developing and following up the educational process, implementing new educational systems, and establishing and developing schools.

Dr. Reda Hegazy reviewed the measures taken by the Ministry to develop and control the educational process, as the Minister stressed continuing to activate electronic absence, and restricting daily absence to the various educational stages, especially the preparatory and secondary stages, stressing the work to attract students to school within the framework of the various measures taken by the Ministry, and directed Those in charge of follow-up in the Ministry and the directorates follow up on schools during the school day to ensure control of the educational process within schools.

The Minister also stressed the necessity of introducing students to the educational and training materials that the Ministry made available on its website for free to students, with the aim of helping them achieve academic achievement and reducing the burden on parents.

Dr. Reda Hegazy reviewed the services provided by the Ministry through its various platforms, noting that the best teachers in the republic were used in the Our School channel group to explain the lessons and educational curricula, and to make these lessons available on YouTube channels, directing them to take advantage of the viewing periods and announce their schedules within the school to maximize the benefit of the students. Of which.

In this context, the Minister emphasized the role of the Ministry’s Support and Communication Department in following up on these procedures and communicating all information about them to students in schools, noting that the Support and Communication Department held 16 seminars in less than a month in various educational departments in the governorate to introduce educational and training materials to students and explain all the advantages of these. Materials and measuring reactions to them; This is for continuous development and modernization.

The Minister also stressed the importance of committing to activities through implementing the sports, cultural and artistic day, which works to attract students to schools and discover talented people.

The Minister also directed the continuation of implementing school support groups in the governorate, by selecting the best distinguished and qualified teachers in each educational department, and selecting the best schools in each educational department that includes an amphitheater or theater as a hall appropriate for students receiving the groups.

The Minister pointed out that there are successful models in Egyptian education, including the International Public Schools “IPS” model, which provides a distinguished educational service, at a reasonable cost, as well as the Egypt Integrated Language Schools “EILS”, of which 4 schools have been opened, indicating that the Ministry aims to expand. In these educational models in various governorates, which include language laboratories, and rely on activities such as tokatsu, life skills, dealing with peers, and research projects.

The Minister stressed the interest in developing these schools through selecting competent teachers, appropriate infrastructure, emphasizing communication with parents, activating educational activities, and students’ academic performance within the school.

The Minister also directed the directors of educational departments in the governorate to provide all means of support to new school principals within the framework of the presidential initiative “1,000 School Principals,” to transfer expertise to them and to follow up on them continuously.

The Minister also touched on the competition for 30,000 teachers, and was assured of the placement and stability of the first batch in the governorate, stressing that the advancement of the educational process is achieved by teachers with a high degree of open-mindedness, the ability to manage and understand, and possessing the skills that qualify them to teach, stressing that another opportunity will be given to teachers who did not They pass the training from the first batch, then re-pass the training, with the teachers of the second batch.
