Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education, held a meeting with the directors of educational departments in Sharkia Governorate, at the Rehabilitation Center for People with Special Needs in the Tenth of Ramadan City.
This came in the presence of Dr. Mamdouh Ghorab, Governor of Sharkia, Dr. Ahmed Abdel Moaty, Deputy Governor, Major General Yousry Salem, Assistant Minister for Building Authority Affairs, Dr. Randa Shaheen, Head of the Central Administration for Public Education, and Dr. Amr Basila, Head of the Central Administration for Technical Education Development and Director of the Applied Technology Schools Operation and Management Unit. Major General Ahmed Abdel-Fattah, Head of the Central Department of Security, Mohamed Fouad Al-Rashidi, Director of the Education Directorate in Sharkia, and Dr. Sahar Al-Alfi, Director-General of the General Administration of Special Education.
In the framework of his continuous follow-up to the implementation of support groups at the level of the Republic, the minister reviewed with the directors of educational departments the mechanisms and controls regulating implementation.
The minister listened to the opinions and proposals of the directors of departments about the mechanisms for implementing support groups and the procedures regulating them at the level of the educational departments in the governorate, directing to allow the general directors of the relevant educational departments - in coordination with the Council of Parents and Trustees in the administration about determining a value for participation in public schools, and public schools "languages" for all stages. , commensurate with the standard of living and taking into account the interest of students.
The Minister stressed the need to work to attract students to the school, especially the students of the third preparatory and third secondary grades, and their full return to school and the restoration of its educational role. Activating punitive measures for absence, to achieve discipline in the course of the educational process in the various stages of education.
With regard to the 30,000 teacher competition, the minister indicated that new teachers will be appointed in the governorates after passing the physical and mental fitness training and the educational course, directing the completion of the placement operations according to their numbers in each directorate.
The Minister directed to continue paying attention to the application of sports, artistic and cultural activities, to pay attention to the gifted, to discover them and to care for the outstanding among them, and directed their selection by preparing a form in which the guardian, teacher and student participate; To identify gifted students.
The minister pointed out that within the framework of the Ministry's interest in people of determination, the Ministry is currently preparing guiding boards with the most used signs for deaf and mute students, accompanied by a QR code that shows the movement of the sign, provided that it is circulated to all schools in the Republic. To raise community awareness and spread the culture of sign language, and to facilitate their daily dealings, participation and integration as an authentic partner in society. The Ministry is also working on developing the academic content for deaf and mute students to include educational activities and treatments that are commensurate with their disabilities.
