The Minister of Education holds a meeting with the directors and deputies of the educational directorates
Mr. Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, held a meeting this evening with the directors and deputies of the educational directorates in various governorates, to follow up on the discipline of the educational process across the republic, and review the procedures and preparations related to the mid-year exams for the transfer and preparatory certificate stages.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Minister expressed his thanks and appreciation to all educational leaders in the educational directorates in all governorates for their efforts during the previous period, and the tangible positive results that occurred in the field reality of the educational process, saying: "I am proud to work with you, as you have achieved unprecedented achievements on the ground, and you should be proud of what you have accomplished for the benefit of our country."
The Minister stressed that the next stage requires a lot of work and effort; Pointing out that the main pillar that will be worked on is to complete the ministry's vision in advancing the educational process and working to develop solutions and mechanisms to address the challenges and problems facing the educational system.
In preparation for the mid-year exams, Minister Mohamed Abdel Latif stressed the responsibility of the educational directorates to ensure that the transfer exams at their various stages and the preparatory certificate proceed in an appropriate manner.
The Minister stressed the importance of conducting safe exams, whether in the transfer stages or certificates, stressing the importance of success in eliminating any negative phenomena that may appear during the exam period, as well as success in eliminating student densities, filling the deficit in teachers, and returning students to schools.
The Minister also directed the good selection of committee heads and observers in the examination process through the directors of educational administrations, stressing the prohibition of bringing mobile phones for supervisors, observers and all those in charge of exams inside the examination committees, in addition to intensifying procedures to prevent students from bringing mobile phones.
The Minister also directed to emphasize the instructions for controlling the examination process, including preventing the supervision of any subject teacher during his subject exam, and not monitoring the observer who has obstacles, in addition to not transferring any teacher from his school to another place during the school year except after presenting it to a committee from the Ministry; This is for the benefit of the student, in addition to taking into account the distribution of teachers in villages in remote and remote areas.
With regard to the application of the evaluation system, the Minister stressed that it is one of the important factors for evaluating the level of students and their regularity in schools, stressing the need to continue discipline within schools and follow up on a daily basis on student attendance rates, stressing the importance of continuing field visits to follow up on the educational process in schools.
