The meeting aimed to monitor the smooth running of the educational process nationwide and review executive procedures and preparations related to the final exams for the current 2024/2025 academic year for transfer and preparatory school certificate levels.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Minister emphasized the importance of these periodic meetings in strengthening communication between the Ministry and the education directorates, emphasizing the need for continued cooperation to ensure the achievement of the Ministry's strategic objectives.

The Minister thanked all educational leaders in the education directorates across all governorates for their efforts in supporting and developing the educational process, an achievement unmatched in the past 30 years. He praised their role in implementing the Ministry's policies and enhancing the quality of education across all governorates. He emphasized that all decisions taken by the Ministry are made in full coordination with the directors of the education directorates, educational leaders, and all stakeholders in the educational process, to ensure their efficient and effective implementation across all governorates.

Regarding the middle school exams, the Minister emphasized the need to implement the "booklet" system for end-of-year middle school exams in all governorates, given the importance of this system in reducing opportunities for cheating, achieving fairness among students, and ensuring the quality of the marking process. He directed the rapid preparation and printing of exams using the "booklet" system in all governorates, emphasizing the Ministry's commitment to providing technical support to all education directorates.

During the meeting, the Minister also emphasized the need for education directorates to complete painting classrooms and planting trees in schools within a month. He explained that planting trees plays an important role in providing a healthy environment for students by providing shade and producing fresh oxygen. He directed the need to maintain the cleanliness and maintenance of classrooms after the completion of painting and planting, and required each education directorate to submit a clear timeline for completing these works.

In the context of promoting positive competition between schools, the Minister emphasized the importance of encouraging education directorates to prioritize the quality of the school environment by launching competitions for the best school and the best classroom. This will contribute to motivating students and teachers to improve the quality of schools and the educational environment.

The Minister emphasized that the Ministry is working to provide all necessary resources to support education directorates, emphasizing the role of directorate directors in their ongoing cooperation with education directors and school principals to implement these directives with the highest level of efficiency.

Regarding the continued commitment to limiting student densities to less than 50 students per class and addressing the teacher shortage, the Minister emphasized adherence to the mechanisms implemented during the current academic year when preparing the plan for the next academic year.

The Minister of Education also stressed the importance of intensifying all efforts to maintain full discipline throughout the academic year and committing to continuous monitoring of student attendance rates. He emphasized the importance of implementing remedial programs designed to improve reading and writing skills during the summer vacation to enhance students' performance in these basic skills. He also emphasized the importance of transparency in assessment results and year-round work, ensuring fairness and equality among students, and ensuring that each student receives their actual results to help them improve their educational level.

The Minister also noted the importance of organizing regular meetings with parents following the release of monthly exam results and the distribution of certificates. These meetings will provide a valuable opportunity to discuss their children's educational level. This cooperation will open the way for parents to meet with subject teachers, enhancing communication between schools and parents. Furthermore, this step will contribute to enhancing the educational environment for the benefit of students.
