"Education" holds a meeting to set mechanisms for activating training packages to "develop values and respect for others" and the curricula for the fourth grade of primary school
The Ministry of Education and Technical Education, at the Ministry's General Office, held a meeting with the directors of general subjects, and directors of training departments in the districts, to present the implementation plan for the program "Activating the School's Role in Developing Values and Respecting the Other", which targets primary school principals.
It was agreed with the directors of all subjects to set mechanisms for implementing training packages for teachers of subjects for fourth-grade teachers on the methodology and philosophy of the new curricula, using examples from curricula. To be applied to the syllabus of the second semester, provided that the exercises take place during the second week of the mid-year vacation.
Dr. Reda Hegazy saluted and thanked the general directors of curriculum development, the Center for Curriculum Development, the Professional Academy for Teachers, and the directors of training for the achievement that took place in the training units, on-the-job training in 2021, and the completion of training bags, without the Ministry of Education bearing any Expenses, pointing out that the philosophy of on-the-job training aims to acquire skills, and is based on the idea that the school is the unit of development.
The Deputy Minister explained that some of the directors of the training departments in the educational directorates were assigned to develop the training package for values and respect for the other in partnership with the Professional Academy for Teachers and the Curriculum Development Center, which resulted in an outstanding work that reflects solidarity among all members of the system, saying: The training is based on the philosophy of New curricula, professional behaviors for primary school principals, modern management skills, managerial excellence and self-development.
Dr. Reda Hegazy also reviewed the training achievements in educational departments and training units in schools, and the achievements were as follows:
A number of 20,283 teachers were targeted on the Professional Behaviors Program for Primary School Principals, of whom 16,740 teachers attended, or 83%.
And the number of 14,349 heads of training units on the professional behavior program for training unit officials, of whom 13344 attended, or 93%, and the number of 164398 teachers on the program of professional development workshops for primary school teachers in all basic subjects, of whom 148,122 teachers attended, or 90.1%.
A number of 13,812 principals on the professional behavior program for training unit officials were targeted, of whom 12,064 attended, or 87.3%, and 9,948 teachers on the professional behavior program, officials of training units, of whom 9131 teachers attended, or 91.8%.
And the number of 117,578 teachers on the program of professional development workshops for teachers of basic subjects for the preparatory stage and computer subject, and a number of 101,212 teachers attended, or 86.1%.
Dr. Reda Hegazy also directed the start of a workshop for trainers on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, to be carried out by the Director of the Training Department to identify the objectives of the program and discuss the activities contained therein. In addition to developing mechanisms for implementing training packages for teachers of school subjects for the fourth grade of primary school, in cooperation with the first course director at the administration level, and in agreement with the directors of general educational subjects, with the need to adhere to precautionary measures.
At the end of the meeting, the team of preparing the portfolio of values and respect for the other for primary school principals was honored.
