The Minister of Education holds a meeting with the directors of education directorates

Mr. Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, held a meeting with the directors of education directorates in all governorates via video conference to closely monitor and review the directorates' preparations for the 2024/2025 high school completion certificate exams, scheduled to begin on Sunday, June 15.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Ahmed El-Mohammadi, Assistant Minister for Strategic Planning and Follow-up and Supervisor of the Central Administration for the Minister's Office Affairs; Mr. Khaled Abdel Hakam, Head of the General Secondary Examinations and Head of the Central Administration for Education Directorates Affairs; and Mr. Shady Zalta, Media Advisor and Official Spokesperson for the Ministry.
At the beginning of the meeting, Mr. Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, stressed that the Ministry will implement all firm and decisive measures to ensure the smooth running of exams. He affirmed the Ministry's full support for the education directorates to facilitate the efficient performance of their assigned tasks. He directed a number of strict measures to ensure the smooth running of exams and full discipline within exam committees, in addition to providing a suitable environment for students to help them take exams with focus and confidence.
Minister Mohamed Abdel Latif reviewed the plan for distributing exam papers, stressing the need for complete assurance of the readiness of secondary school exam committees in various governorates.
Minister Mohamed Abdel Latif emphasized the full and ongoing coordination between the education directorates and all relevant authorities to ensure the success of the process of securing exam committees from abroad and achieving the highest levels of transparency and integrity.
The Minister also stressed the need for thorough inspection of students before entering examination halls. Two members of the Education Department will be present in the inspection area designated for each examination hall to monitor the progress of work on the ground and ensure strict implementation of instructions. He emphasized coordination with the governorates and the Ministry of Interior to ensure police presence around examination halls and the absence of any parents in the vicinity of examination halls, ensuring the highest levels of discipline. He also emphasized the need to implement legal procedures decisively and firmly against any violations that may occur.
