The Minister of Education discusses with the directors general of the development of academic subjects the mechanisms of preparation for the new school year 2022/2023
Today, Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education, held a meeting with the directors general of school development at the Ministry's general office. To follow up a number of administrative and technical procedures in preparation for the new academic year 2022/2023.
The minister stressed the important role of the general directors of the development of school subjects, and their participation in preparing the curricula, and in the committees that review the answer forms in the high school exams (second round) to make any necessary adjustments before correction.
Hegazy discussed the mechanisms for implementing the integration of educational channels and technology into the study programmes, noting that a schedule of broadcast dates will be prepared that will be available for parents to follow up on their children watching lessons, stressing that these mechanisms maximize resources, achieve added value, attract students to study and help reduce the phenomenon of private lessons. .
He directed to maximize the use of the knowledge bank and educational platforms, and for the general directors of the development of subjects to extract the important links related to teaching each topic in the curriculum to be available to all concerned students, teachers, mentors and parents to enrich the educational process.
Hegazy assigned the Director General of Study Subjects Development to prepare the student’s guide for each subject, which contains activities, the link for lessons and study topics on the Knowledge Bank and the Ministry’s electronic platforms, and to prepare a book review in cooperation with the National Curriculum Center, as well as preparing a training bag for the fifth grade.
During the meeting, Dr. Randa Shaheen, head of the public education sector, stressed the communication with the directors of the directorates to implement all the instructions and periodical books issued by the minister, and stressing that the directorates prepare continuous follow-up plans throughout the year; To follow up the educational process and submit reports to the Ministry regarding curricula and methods of teaching them and the regularity of the educational process.
The head of the education sector stressed the follow-up of teacher training programs and measuring their impact and extent of use in the halls, as well as preparing a complete inventory of the training that may take place for each subject during the year and its technical evaluation for the student and teacher.
