The Minister of Education and the Secretary-General of the Education Development Fund discuss )

Mr. Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, received Dr. Rasha Sharaf, Secretary-General of the Education Development Fund, affiliated with the Cabinet, to discuss ways to enhance cooperation in developing the education system and future plans.

During the meeting, the agenda of the 45th Education Development Fund Board of Directors meeting, chaired by the Prime Minister, was discussed. This agenda includes the commencement of development work on the Early Childhood Development Center in Education City in 6th of October City, as part of the "Generation Alpha Kindergartens" project.

The meeting also discussed the implementation of Cisco's digital skills courses in networking and cybersecurity, which include granting students international certificates for practicing technology-related professions in various secondary schools.

The launch of career guidance and counseling tests for students in the summer of 2025 for middle and high school graduates was also discussed. To prepare students for admission to schools and universities according to their abilities and interests, as well as to develop local tests to simulate international tests (TIMMS and PISA) to prepare students for international standards.

During the meeting, Minister Mohamed Abdel Latif emphasized strengthening cooperation between the Ministry and the Education Development Fund to contribute to supporting the educational process. He also emphasized the Ministry's commitment to providing diverse skills to secondary school graduates, keeping pace with the needs of the local and international labor market, and ensuring educational quality standards from kindergarten through the end of secondary school.

The Minister directed the need to expedite the implementation of the aforementioned programs to achieve the goals of the education system in accordance with Egypt's Vision 2030 and beyond.

For her part, Dr. Rasha Sharaf, Secretary-General of the Education Development Fund, indicated that the Ministry of Education and Technical Education's membership in the Education Development Fund's Board of Directors achieves integration in the vision of developing the pre-university education system and coordinates efforts across various educational projects that serve the goals of the Egyptian state, achieve prosperity, and provide job opportunities for Egyptian citizens.
