Dr. Reda Hijazi directs to hold educational awareness seminars for school students and to organize student activities, competitions and events to raise environmental awareness

The Ministry of Education and Technical Education participates in the global initiative to turn off the lights "Earth Hour", which comes this year under the slogan "It's Time for Nature". This is to raise awareness of the danger of excessive energy consumption and its negative effects on the planet and its cause of climate change and global warming.

Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education, directed the educational directorates to hold educational awareness seminars for school students through the school radio in the morning queue, as well as organizing student activities, competitions and events to express the celebration of this global event to guide students towards correct behaviors about the importance of energy and rationalization of consumption with documentation.

The ministry's participation in the "Earth Hour" comes within the framework of the recommendations of the Climate Summit 2022 “COP 27” in Sharm El-Sheikh and the state's interest in global environmental issues and achieving sustainable development by raising environmental awareness among students.
