Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education, participated in the activities of the tenth session of the Akhbar Al-Youm Economic Conference, under the patronage of Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, under the title “The Egyptian Economy... Challenges and Priorities.”
This came in the presence of the Ministers of Finance, Youth, Sports, Trade and Industry, the State for Immigration and the Affairs of Egyptians Abroad, and the Public Business Sector, Mr. Abdel Sadiq El-Shorbagy, Chairman of the National Press Authority, Mr. Ahmed Galal, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Akhbar Al-Youm Foundation, Mr. Khaled Merry, Editor-in-Chief of Al-Akhbar newspaper, and a large number of industrialists. investors, the business community, experts and academics.
Dr. Reda Hegazy praised the conference, its organization and its objectives, which aims to present all points of view and hold a fruitful and constructive dialogue on ways to confront the challenges facing the Egyptian state, pointing out that these challenges do not ignore ways to develop the educational system in which the Ministry of Education and Technical Education is making great efforts. In cooperation with various agencies and bodies in the country.

The conference activities included 4 plenary sessions discussing industry and export files, financial and monetary policies, the public business sector, real estate, building materials, and sports investment.
The conference sessions focused on the challenges of industry and investment, controlling the exchange rate market, not importing unnecessary goods, increasing Egyptian exports abroad, setting incentives to integrate the informal sector, and supporting troubled factory owners, in addition to the current challenges with regard to attracting foreign investments, encouraging the local product, and paying attention to educational tourism.
