Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education, and Dr. Mohamed Moait, Minister of Finance, witnessed the signing ceremony of a cooperation protocol between the ministry and e-finance in the field of developing financial services provided to citizens in the governorates nationwide.

The protocol was signed by Dr. Ahmed Daher, Deputy Minister for Technology Development, and Eng. Ibrahim Sarhan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of e-Finance for Financial and Digital Investments.

The two parties agreed to manage and operate a system of non-bank financial services for pre-university education that includes electronic payment platforms for school fees and tuition fee installment services, and to host and operate advanced educational platforms to serve the student and the comprehensive education system, relying on the secure and encrypted technological infrastructure of e-finance and providing several electronic channels to accept the proceeds. School fees and the provision of other services are added in appendices to this agreement.

In his speech, Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education, expressed his pleasure at participating in this important conference, "The Conference on Financial Inclusion (PAFIX)", which comes within the framework of implementing Egypt's sustainable development strategy 2030, by increasing reliance on digital means in financial transactions and expanding the means of Payment, and all electronic transactions, especially in light of the rapid global developments that affected all countries of the world.
Dr. Al-Wazir said: In light of the state's strategy towards developing all government services provided to citizens, which would improve the life of the Egyptian citizen, indicating that in light of the ministry's endeavor to establish and develop an advanced financial services platform for the pre-university education system; To reduce administrative burdens on parents, simplify procedures in order to achieve effective management and delivery of services in the fastest time, and work to expand digital education, by providing technological solutions in line with the best international practices.
Dr. Reda Hegazy confirmed that on the sidelines of this conference, and in implementation of its outputs, the cooperation protocol between the Ministry of Education and Technical Education was signed with one of the leading companies in the field of financial and digital investments to serve the financial digital transformation in Egypt, which is e-finance for financial and digital investments; This is to operate and manage a system of non-bank financial services for pre-university education, including electronic payment of school fees, tuition fees installment services, management of advanced educational platforms to serve the student, and a comprehensive education system, relying on the advanced technological infrastructure of the company and the availability of several electronic channels to accept the proceeds, along with Providing integrated services for technical support, and providing a comprehensive system for following up complaints and proposals to the public dealing with educational services, as well as other services stipulated within the provisions of this protocol, and provided through its subsidiaries.
The Minister of Education continued: The conclusion of this protocol is a true translation of the vision and directives of the political leadership to build a digital Egypt and in support of the state's relentless efforts towards improving the quality and efficiency of services provided to citizens, stressing that the efforts of e-finance for financial and digital investments and its subsidiaries represent real support for the efforts of the Egyptian state in Expansion in achieving financial inclusion, by providing its services to the government sector, private sector companies and the banking sector, providing them with the latest financial and digital technology, and providing digital services and products; In an effort to provide the largest possible number of acceptance channels, and electronic payment and collection tools in Egypt, relying on the Egyptian government's financial network, in addition to providing a distinguished service to the public, by providing several electronic platforms with a high-tech infrastructure, according to the latest international measurements, through The mass network of its subsidiary E-Khalas.
In his speech, Dr. Mohamed Maait, Minister of Finance, expressed his happiness at celebrating the ninth year, and this indicates sustainability, pointing out that digital transformation helped solve many problems facing the state, including bureaucracy, and digital transformation has the ability to bring society to a higher efficiency, indicating that Egyptian minds are found in all countries of the world and have a strong influence in this field, and they can show our strength and competence.
The minister explained that the state’s general ministry was done on paper, but the president’s directives to switch to a digital system within one year, and that requires great effort, indicating that the digital transformation was the product of Egyptian minds, and that this digital transformation is the way to exploit the capabilities of the Egyptians until we reach the ranks of first progress.

The Minister of Finance added that the challenge we face and the world is facing is economic inflation, and that the faster we proceed with digitization, the less this will reduce financial drain.

The protocol aims to create and develop an advanced financial services platform for the pre-university education system to reduce administrative burdens on parents and simplify procedures in order to achieve effective management and delivery of services in the fastest time, within the framework of the state's strategy towards developing all government services provided to citizens, which comes in light of the vision Egypt 2030, which will improve the life of the Egyptian citizen.
