Within the framework of the fruitful and effective cooperation between the Ministry of Education and Technical Education, the Ministry of State for Immigration and Egyptian Expatriate Affairs, and Egypt’s Renaissance Publishing House regarding the implementation of a number of joint projects within the framework of achieving sustainable development goals in light of the state’s strategy “Egypt Vision 2030” and within the implementation of the presidential initiative “I speak.” Arabic", which aims to emphasize the consolidation of belonging and the preservation of the Egyptian identity among our young generations abroad, in the face of other cultures in order to build the Egyptian person on which development is based.
Dr. Tarek Shawky, Minister of Education and Technical Education, and Ambassador Nabila Makram, Minister of State for Immigration and Egyptians Abroad Affairs, and Ms. Dalia Mohamed Ibrahim, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Nahdet Misr Publishing Company, signed a joint cooperation protocol between the three parties, according to which the identity confirmation system will be completed. The Egyptian is supported by the approved Egyptian curricula that keep pace with Egypt’s vision 2030, by making available and adding the Arabic language curricula, religious education, values ​​curriculum and respecting the other in its electronic form to the “Speak Arabic” application launched by the Ministry of Immigration and in cooperation with Egypt’s Renaissance House, with the aim of teaching Arabic to our young generations abroad.
Dr. Tarek Shawky welcomed the attendees, expressing his happiness with the fruitful and effective cooperation between the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Immigration and Egyptians Abroad Affairs, and the activation of the presidential initiative "Speak Arabic", which was launched by the Ministry of Immigration and Egyptians Abroad, with Dar Nahdet Misr, which aims to teach our children abroad the language. Arab, within the framework of the presidential initiative with the aim of preserving the Egyptian national and cultural identity and consolidating belonging among Egyptian children living abroad.
The minister praised the cooperation with Dar Nahdet Misr in producing educational curricula for the Arabic language and religious education in parallel with its digital content.
For her part, Ambassador Nabila Makram, Minister of Immigration, expressed her happiness with the concerted governmental efforts, cooperation and joint coordination with the Ministry of Education in various age groups, and working within the framework of implementing the presidential initiative “Speak Arabic” in cooperation with Egypt’s Renaissance House, which aims to teach our children abroad the Arabic language as a way To preserve the Egyptian identity, and to invest in this good return achieved by the initiative and to activate the joint cooperation between the three parties, the agreement came to complete the system of confirming the Egyptian identity supported by the approved Egyptian curricula to achieve the vision of the Egyptian state in implementing the strategy of building the Egyptian person.
Ambassador Nabila Makram added that the availability of a number of important educational curricula, such as the Arabic language curriculum, Islamic and Christian religious education, the curriculum of values ​​and respect for the other in its electronic form, came in response to the requests of Egyptian families abroad to provide electronic copies of these Egyptian educational curricula, and this will be done by making them available on the electronic application “Speak Arabic.” So that all Egyptian families abroad can access, obtain and use them in the process of their children learning the Arabic language, Egyptian culture and values.
The Minister of Immigration added that by making these Egyptian educational curricula available on the "I speak Arabic" application, we have started the second phase of launching and launching the application for users, making it more able to help and meet the needs of Egyptian parents and families abroad, in order to achieve the goals of the presidential initiative in preserving identity. Egyptian.
For her part, Ms. Dalia Mohamed Ibrahim, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Nahdet Misr Publishing Company, said that the company will develop electronic copies of the Egyptian educational curricula that it has previously authored and developed in accordance with the agreements concluded with the Ministry of Education, namely; Books of the Arabic language, Islamic and Christian religious education and books on values ​​and respect for the other, provided that they are in formats and characteristics that can be published electronically, and that are suitable for the target group.
