At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Reda Hegazy thanked Major General Gamal Nour El-Din, Governor of Kafr El-Sheikh, for the good and regular progress of the educational process in the governorate, stressing that today’s meeting aims to follow up the progress of the educational process in accordance with the new changes, including the distribution of new teachers within the framework of the “30,000 Teachers Competition...the Year.” "The first."

The Minister confirmed that there has become a mechanism for selecting teachers so that the best and the best are chosen because teachers are the ones who will bring about movement, change and development, pointing out that those who applied for the competition were tested by the Central Organization for Organization and Administration in five components: cognitive, educational specialization, general culture, ICT, and language. They then undergo educational, physical and mental fitness training courses, and then undergo training at a relevant agency.

Dr. Reda Hegazy also reviewed the presidential initiative to select “a thousand school principals” from young teachers, which includes many steps to select the most efficient school principals, pointing out that the teachers who graduated the first training course were given comprehensive training with a full residency for 6 months, and those who passed this were granted The program is a diploma in educational leadership and national security, which in turn paves the way for those who pass it to assume school management to achieve the desired change in improving the performance of school administration.

The minister indicated that the new school principals will be placed nationwide, adding that they will be assigned through a plan to receive them and distribute them to the schools, stressing to the educational leaders in the governorate the need to benefit from the capabilities and ideas of the new principals.

The Minister directed the need for everyone to come together so that the educational process proceeds regularly, reviewing the Ministry’s efforts to ease the family’s burden and attract students to school.

Regarding school support groups, the Minister directed that all means of support be provided to students in these groups, and the provision of distinguished teachers and appropriate halls, in addition to the freedom for students to choose teachers, noting that directorates of directorates and general directors of departments will be evaluated and the support groups will be one of the evaluation tools.

The Minister stressed that the best teachers in Egypt have been selected to explain educational lessons and curricula on educational channels nationwide, directing directors of educational departments to announce the schedule of educational channel programs for all students in schools to achieve their maximum benefit.

The Minister also stressed the importance of the day for sports, cultural and artistic activities and the viewing periods for educational materials broadcast on television, noting that the viewing periods help fill the teachers’ deficit, as the session shown on television is equivalent to two academic sessions.

The Minister also touched on the Ministry’s availability of educational and training materials with in-depth explanations, questions, tests, and links to educational videos, noting the importance of introducing students in schools to these materials to benefit from them in academic achievement by downloading them from the Ministry’s website for free.

Regarding conducting middle school exams, the minister stressed the need for the directorate to announce the nature of the exam to students, whether it will be implemented using the Pocket system or like last year.

The Minister also indicated that the school discipline regulations had been activated, stressing also the role of the school in activating citizenship, loyalty and belonging among students.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Minister stressed the necessity of having an official within each school to report on simple and urgent maintenance and quickly take the necessary action and deal with it for the safety of students.

For his part, the Governor of Kafr El-Sheikh, in his name and on behalf of the people of Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate, welcomed the visit of the Minister of Education and Technical Education, stressing the joint cooperation and coordination between the Ministry of Education and the governorate, in order to improve the educational system, develop solutions to challenges and obstacles, and overcome obstacles, with the aim of developing and pushing the educational system forward, and achieving Quality education for the people of Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate and lifting the burden on the citizen.

The Governor of Kafr El-Sheikh said that the governorate is witnessing an unprecedented boom in the education sector and the development of educational facilities, to provide a distinguished educational service with the required quality to meet the needs of our children in the cities and villages of Kafr El-Sheikh, pointing out that education is the beacon of progress and the basis of knowledge and building the Egyptian human being, and providing qualitative educational service by developing education.
