"Education" announces technical education preparations for the beginning of the new school year 2021/2022
In light of the directives of Dr. Tariq Shawky, Minister of Education and Technical Education, to prepare for the new school year, and to take all precautionary measures to preserve the safety of our students, the Ministry of Education and Technical Education confirmed that the technical education sector has taken all necessary measures to start the study tomorrow, Saturday, October 9, 2021. .
The ministry indicated that all officials in technical secondary schools at the republic level were alerted to the need to take all precautions and precautions to confront the Corona virus in light of the instructions and periodical books issued in this regard.
She pointed out that within the framework of expanding the application of the developed study programs with curricula based on the merits methodology according to the needs of the labor market in (300) additional technical schools, bringing the number of schools in which the developed programs are applied to (413) technical secondary schools, including (245) industrial schools, and ( 67) a commercial school, (72) an agricultural school, and (29) a hotel school.
The Ministry continued, the cooperation between the technical education sector through specific departments, the Technical Education Development Center and the educational directorates has resulted in the completion of training (62691) teachers, mentors and school administration cadres from all directorates, where 512 trainers of trainers of all types of technical education have been prepared ( Industrial - agricultural - commercial - hotel), and (28095) teachers and members of technical guidance bodies were trained on professional competencies, as well as (29792) teachers and members of technical guidance bodies were trained on the skills of student assessment developed according to the special training packages prepared for this, which were prepared from Through the technical education cadres who have been prepared for this.
In the context of providing students with the skills of entrepreneurship, innovation, self-discovery and identifying different career paths, (4292) teachers were prepared as trainers, facilitators and transfer of experience to teach entrepreneurship and innovation curricula and guidance and counseling curricula.
She explained that the trainings were designed and implemented on the shoulders of technical education cadres, in a step to build the capacities of teachers and mentors, develop study programs and build curricula according to the needs of the labor market in cooperation with labor market representatives and gain experiences from Egyptian and foreign experts and development partners.
