The Minister of Education chairs the meeting of the Board of Directors of the Social Welfare Fund

Mr. Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, chaired today the meeting of the Board of Directors of the Social Welfare Fund for Teachers; This is to complete the discussion of activating the role of the Fund and the privileges it provides; To improve the financial conditions of teachers and their assistants, and to discuss the regulations governing the Fund.

At the beginning of the meeting, the decisions of the previous Board of Directors held on October 5, 2024 were discussed, which included presenting the annual budget of the Fund, presenting the organizational structure, and presenting the procedures that were taken in preparing the actuarial study, and the minutes of the previous meeting were approved and ratified.

In belief in the role played by the Social Welfare Fund for Teachers and their Assistants in Education and Technical Education and Al-Azhar Al-Sharif in caring for the Egyptian teacher by creating a good educational environment, the meeting discussed the social and insurance benefits and additional benefits that enhance financial stability and improve the social status of teachers, in addition to discussing the financial and administrative regulations of the Fund.

In this context, the Minister pointed out the follow-up of addressing all educational directorates and administrations and Al-Azhar Al-Sharif to receive requests for services provided to beneficiaries of the Fund's privileges and subject to Law (212) of 2020 from teachers and administrators working in the educational field in education and Al-Azhar Al-Sharif.

This came in the presence of Brigadier General Tariq Al-Baz, Executive Director of the Fund and Head of the Central Administration for Educational Centers and Complexes, Dr. Ahmed Khalifa, representing the Undersecretary of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, Counselor Sayed Abdullah Ammar, Head of the Fatwa Department of the Ministries of Education and Higher Education (representing the State Council), Dr. Ahmed Sayed Hassan, representing the Minister of Finance, Dr. Rania Ezzat, representing the Minister of Social Solidarity, Sayed Al-Badawi Abdel Rahman, Financial Expert at the Fund for Supporting, Financing, Managing and Constructing Educational Projects, Walid Maher, Director General of the General Administration of Political Communication and Parliamentary Affairs, Khaled Ibrahim, Director General of Model Education at Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, Yahya Abdel Moneim, Director General of Al-Azhar's Budget, Dr. Rafat Eid Asr, Actuarial Expert, and Ahmed Abdel Quddous, Director of the General Administration of the Teachers' Care Fund
