"Education" completes the Plan to Upgrade the Academic Level of Teachers in Schools

According to the directives of Dr. Tariq Shawky, Minister of Education and Technical Education, the Ministry of Education and Technical Education held a meeting with the directors of the training departments of the educational directorates; To discuss the completion of the plan to upgrade the academic level of teachers of grades from the fourth primary to the third preparatory, and to develop their skills in the subjects of their scientific specialties and to manage the educational process in cooperation with the mentors of all school subjects.

At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Reda Hegazy, Deputy Minister for Teachers Affairs, welcomed the attendees, stressing the importance of on-the-job training, especially in the field of specialization for the members of the Education Authority for grades from the fourth primary to the third preparatory, within the directives of Dr. Technical, the importance of training to upgrade the role of the Egyptian teacher in improving the status and quality of education.

The Deputy Minister directed the necessity to prepare a training plan on the scale of each educational administration, to be compiled at the directorate level, in cooperation with the mentors of general subjects and first mentors, as a road map that clarifies the location of the training, the timing of its implementation and the target numbers for each subject separately, and the programs are implemented Training in accordance with the training packages that were reviewed by the general directors of the development of academic subjects, stressing that these programs aim at professional development and increase the teacher's knowledge, concepts and skills and improve them in his field of work and professional responsibilities, especially in the subject of his specialization, as well as the professional development programs create appropriate conditions and activities To direct the teacher's growth in a high degree of scientific proficiency in performing his professional duties.

Dr. Reda Hegazy, Deputy Minister for Teachers Affairs, explained that this plan aims to activate the role of the technical mentor in the professional development of masters in the field of specialization, which will in turn be reflected on teachers and their students, which will increase the effectiveness of their skills and competitiveness, through the preparation of documented workshops not less than Five workshops during the coming period for teachers inside their schools or their closest schools in coordination with training officials in educational departments and directors of training in educational directorates, as well as teachers attending the classes of their colleagues, watching the teacher's explanation in the classroom and discussing it afterwards, which leads to mobility and positive results for the development of their professional performance.
