In light of the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, the Ministry of Education and Technical Education, represented by the Central Administration for Student Activities, launched the activities of the third Sports, Scout and Guidance Festival, held from December 6 to 9, under the patronage of Dr. Tariq Shawky, Minister of Education And technical education, with the aim of promoting the values ​​of loyalty and belonging to the homeland.

Schools from 18 Nubian villages will participate in the festival (Al-Qubbah, Al-Jalabiya, Al-Awadat Qebili, Al-Madab, Al-Hamdab, Al-Shadid, Al-Ghulalab, Al-Qurtatbat, Sheikh Diab, Al-Mawadat Bahri, Al-Jranisi, Al-Hamd Al-Lab, Al-Hijab, Abu Issa Al-Faras, Al-Sidr, Al-Khair Lab, Al-Basin, Al-Baladia).

The festival's activities began with the tune of national songs, the flag campaign lined up, and the sporting march began, with the participation of the attendees and students, and then a meeting of educational leaders with the people of West Aswan.

During her speech, Dr. Iman Hassan, Head of the Central Administration for Educational Activities, expressed her happiness at being among the people of Nubia, and confirmed that she is proud of her presence on the land of Egyptian civilization and culture that has its roots in the depths of history (the land of Nubia). During the festival's activities, everyone headed to the Basion Club, where the activities began with a football match between the New Dome A and West Aswan Bahari B teams, as well as the scout camp in the Sidr Preparatory School and included stages (cubs, flowers, advanced scouts, guides, and an advanced guide), as well as many shouts. It is worth noting that this festival was organized for the first time in 2014 with Nubia Nasr, while the second time was organized in 2015 in the villages of West Suhail, and it is organized this year in the villages of West Aswan, and the festival is divided into two parts, the first section includes various sports such as football, athletics and fitness Physical, while the second section includes (exploration and extension work).

On the sidelines of the festival, the Awareness Caravans Program for Social Education Activities was held under the supervision of Dr. Iman Hassan, Head of the Central Department for Student Activities, and Dr. Amr El-Desouky, Director General of the General Department of Social Service, from (6 to 8 December) at the headquarters of the Advanced Trade School in Aswan. 180 individual social workers and mentors at the district level, responsible for school activity groups and the anti-smoking and drug group in schools, and school social service offices.

The themes of the meetings were about the role of activity groups and their importance in student and community awareness, methods and tactics for studying individual cases and alleviating problems, how to study community phenomena, methods of prevention and awareness, student personality development, the role of the anti-smoking and drug group in schools in prevention and awareness of the dangers of smoking, and the effects The implications of smoking with the Corona crisis and epidemic.
