During his visit to Luxor Governorate, the Minister of Education and Technical Education meets with the governorate's education leaders
Today, Dr. Tarek Shawky, Minister of Education and Technical Education, met with education leaders in Luxor Governorate, to talk about proposals for developing the educational process, in the presence of Dr. Ahmed Daher, Deputy Minister of Education for Technological Development, and Dr. Mohamed El-Sayed, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education in Luxor.
Dr. Tarek Shawky said that there is great interest from the political leadership represented by His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, in developing the educational system in Egypt and correcting its course to create future generations that keep pace with scientific and technological progress in various fields, noting that we seek to change some concepts of learning that are concerned with success and achievement. Shawky added that by developing the new curricula that are fundamentally different from the old curricula in accordance with Egypt’s Vision for Sustainable Development 2030 and the difference in teaching methods, and the transition from stereotyping and traditional methods of learning to innovation and creativity, we will reach an enjoyable and distinguished education to develop generations with skills that have the ability to learn. over the years.
The Minister of Education called on everyone, especially parents, to cooperate meaningfully and not be drawn into rumors and demolition attempts to achieve the best positive and distinguished results.
He explained that the trainings for teachers continue throughout the school year on a specific philosophy that defines exploration, then learning, and then application, pointing out that teachers are leaders of change as Egyptian trainers who lead the process of changing education to build people, and we maintain this trust, and emphasize responsibility, especially that we have skilled and genius teachers able to accomplish.
At the end of the meeting, Dr. Tarek Shawky, Minister of Education and Technical Education, listened to a set of opinions and proposals from the audience, especially to bridge the deficit for all disciplines in the governorate.
