The Ministry of Education and Technical Education organized, for three consecutive weeks, teacher admission tests to join the International Schools of Applied Technology, in coordination with the Workforce Egypt project funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), and a number of partners from the public business sectors. and private; To select the best advanced elements for the positions of school leaders (principal and representative of a school), teachers and administrators in five international schools of applied technology.
The schools are: Fresh International School for Applied Technology in Sharkia Governorate (10th of Ramadan City), Ahmed Daifallah International School for Applied Technology in Assiut Governorate, Fathallah International School for Applied Technology in Alexandria Governorate, Misr Insurance International School for Applied Technology in Minya Governorate (New Minya City), and El Sewedy International School for Applied Technology and Software in Giza Governorate (Sixth of October City).

Dr. Muhammad Mujahid, Deputy Minister of Technical Education, said that the study is scheduled to start in these schools as of the new academic year 2022-2023, noting that the International Schools of Applied Technology are a model that follows the latest international quality standards in terms of designing the school's curricula, which It depends on the application of curricula based on the methodology of competencies related to industry needs and international accreditation requirements, to qualify technical education students to keep pace with local, regional and global labor markets, as part of the efforts made by the Ministry, which aims to raise the level of quality of the technical education system, programs and outputs in Egypt.
Dr. Amr Basileh, Head of the Central Administration for the Development of Technical Education at the Ministry of Education and Director of the Operation and Management Unit for Applied Technology Schools, added that the process of selecting the International Schools of Applied Technology team of directors, agents and teachers in all fields was carried out by a tripartite committee representing the ministry and the partner from the business sector. international partner; To ensure transparency and credibility, and according to specific criteria and conditions, applicants for school leadership positions passed tests in English and computer, in addition to passing the personal interview held by the tripartite committee formed for this purpose. The number of applicants for this competition reached 350 applicants to compete for the vacant positions announced at the International Schools of Applied Technology, stressing that the selection process was carried out according to high quality standards to ensure the selection and recruitment of a distinguished elite of leaders, teachers and administrators, as they are the main pillar for the success of the educational system within schools.
Fawzy pointed out that the Egypt Manpower Project will not only ensure the selection of the best cadres and human elements for these schools, but that the cadres accepted to work in schools will be subject to tests to determine training needs, in preparation for the design of professional development programs dedicated to building the capabilities of these elements on an ongoing basis, in order to ensure upgrading The continuous level of the human element, and then the graduates of this type of school.
Eng.
