The Minister of Education chairs the meeting of the Board of Directors of the National Center for Examinations and Educational Evaluation

Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education, chaired the meeting of the Board of Directors of the National Center for Educational Examinations and Evaluation today, at the headquarters of the National Center for Examinations, in the presence of a number of leaders of the ministry, the center and university professors.

At the beginning of the meeting, the minister welcomed the Board of Directors of the National Examinations Center, praising the great role played by the center during the last period, which made it one of the best centers in the region.

The minister also praised the role of the National Examinations Center in preparing question banks, training 50,000 teachers and mentors nationwide on the new system for the 2023 general secondary exams, teaching practices, and how to prepare test vocabulary at this level.

The minister indicated that with regard to this year's exams, a number of measures were taken to facilitate students and fully train secondary school teachers, and the meeting also discussed training those in charge of exam administration through video conferencing.

The minister stressed the importance of formulating the questions of the third secondary grade exams in an accurate and clear manner. He also stressed the importance of speedy completion of the guiding form for the general secondary exams, directing the director of the National Examinations Center to announce it on the ministry’s website next week.

During the meeting, the center's draft budget proposal for the fiscal year 2023/2024 was approved, the center's work plan for the next year, and the need to focus on monitoring the life problems facing students and teachers within the framework of efforts to develop the educational system.

This came in the presence of Dr. Muhammad Mujahid, Deputy Minister for Technical Education, Dr. Ahmed Daher, Deputy Minister for Technological Development, Dr. Ahmed Al-Mohammadi, Assistant Minister for Directorate Affairs, Dr. Ramadan Muhammad Ramadan, Assistant Minister for Examinations and Educational Evaluation, Dr. Jihan Kamal, Assistant Minister for Educational Research and Development, and Dr. Mustafa Refaat Al-Amin. General of the Supreme Council of Universities, a number of ministry leaders and leaders of the National Examinations Center.
