Education" selects candidates for the "Egypt Award for Governmental Excellence" project

Today, the Ministry of Education and Technical Education has started the procedures for selecting candidates from the ministry’s employees and the educational directorates and departments affiliated with it, within the framework of the implementation of the “Egypt Award for Governmental Excellence” project, the third session 2022, which is supervised by the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development, under the supervision of Dr. Tarek Shawky, Minister of Education and Technical Education.
Elham Ahmed Ibrahim, Head of Services and Activities Sector, said that the "Egypt Award for Governmental Excellence" aims to support government agencies and spread the culture and thought of excellence in government work, noting that the main objective of the annual award is to stimulate the spirit of competition and excellence, whether at the level of workers or at the level of institutions. She explained that honoring the distinguished in the performance of public services is done morally and materially, which supports the values ​​of giving, belonging and excellence, and motivates everyone to raise performance levels and adhere to quality standards.
Ilham Ibrahim added that the door to submit a candidacy application for the third round of the "Egypt Award for Government Excellence" has been opened at the Ministry of Education and Technical Education, and the ministry asked the directorates to provide it with the candidates' data last February to activate the candidates' username and facilitate the coordinators to submit the nomination request on the electronic system.
Elham Ibrahim pointed out that the "Egypt Award for Government Excellence" includes the Distinguished Websites Award, the Institutional Innovation and Creativity Award, in providing government services, and the Individual Excellence Awards, which include the Distinguished Leaders Award, in addition to the best government employee and the best government team.
It is worth noting that the selection committee for candidates includes Ilham Ahmed Ibrahim, head of the services and activities sector, Brigadier Tarek El-Baz, head of the General Secretariat sector, Ahmed Moussa, general leader of student unions, and Dr. Amr El-Desouky El-Sharif, coordinator of the Egypt Prize for Governmental Excellence in the ministry.
