The Minister of Education and the Governor of South Sinai inaugurate the Egyptian-Japanese School in Sharm El-Sheikh
Dr. Tariq Shawky, Minister of Education and Technical Education, and Major General Khaled Fouda, Governor of South Sinai, inaugurated today the Egyptian-Japanese School in Sharm El-Sheikh.
This came in the presence of Major General Akram Al-Nashar, Assistant Minister for Financial and Administrative Affairs, Dr. Reda Hegazy, Deputy Minister for Teachers Affairs, and in the presence of Muhammad Aql, Deputy Minister of Education in the governorate, Professor Nevin Hammouda, Adviser to the Minister for Strategic Relations and Supervisor of Egyptian-Japanese Schools, and a number of executive and educational leaders.
The total area of the school is 10 thousand square meters, and the school consists of 28 classes from kindergarten to high school.
The minister and the governor were keen to follow up on some of the tokatsu activities for students in the classroom, and to listen to teachers and students about the school's education system.
Dr. Tarek Shawky emphasized that the education system in the Egyptian-Japanese schools focuses on building the child's personality in addition to the new education system and the application of tokatsu activities that help in developing the child's skills.
The Minister of Education confirmed that there is interest in opening many schools in South Sinai, as part of the state’s interest in education plan.
The governor of South Sinai said that there are many cooperation projects between the governorate and the ministry, and the opening of many schools during the coming period, including international public schools.
The Egyptian Japanese School in Sharm El-Sheikh is the second school of this type to be established in the governorate, as an Egyptian-Japanese school was established in Tor Sinai, the capital, which was inaugurated in October 2018.
