During President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi's visit to Japan on February 28, 2016, a partnership was announced between the two countries in the field of education, which would lead to improving Egyptian education. This came after the president's admiration for Japanese schools, especially the element of school discipline and student activities.
In the academic year 2017/2018, Minister of Education and Technical Education Dr. Tariq Shawky announced the start of the implementation of the experience of the Egyptian-Japanese schools, bringing their number to 48 schools in 25 governorates, in the next academic year 2021/2022, and it is expected that their number will increase in the coming years. .
The school education system seeks to provide students with a set of skills by providing a comprehensive educational system called in the Japanese education system comprehensive child education, which is a system based on achieving balanced growth for both "mind, values and body", and guarantees a platform for the development of academic skills and enrichment of conscience, human feelings and physical development And healthy together.
The Ministry had announced the opening of the application period to enroll in Egyptian-Japanese schools for the academic year 2021/2022, starting from Thursday, April 8, 2021 and continuing for a period of 15 days, through the following link https://ejs4students.moe.gov.eg
The Ministry confirmed that the application will be electronic for the kindergarten stage, first level KG1, provided that the conditions for applying are announced through the schools' website.
