The Minister of Education and the Governor of Cairo inaugurated the Egypt Integrated Language School (EILS) in Zaytoun
Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education, and Major General Khaled Abdel-Al, Governor of Cairo, opened the Egypt Integrated Language School (EILS) at the Zaytoun Educational Administration.
This came in the presence of Dr. Hossam El-Din Fawzi, Deputy Governor of the Northern Region, Major General Yousry Salem, Assistant Minister for the General Authority for Educational Buildings, Representative Martha Mahrous, Member of the House of Representatives for the Coordination of Youth Parties and Politicians, Khaled Abdel Hakam, Head of the Central Administration for Directorate Affairs, and Ayman Moussa, Director of the Directorate. Education in Cairo, and Dr. Mahmoud Haggag, Director General of the General Administration of Support and Communication.
The Minister and the Governor inspected a number of classrooms and activity rooms at the school, and they also exchanged dialogue with students and teachers to ensure the implementation of the school’s rules, regulations and activities.
The minister pointed out that Egypt's integrated language schools are smart government schools that keep pace with the global developments of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, and aim to create a distinguished generation capable of keeping pace with global changes, in light of Egypt's Vision 2030. They apply life values and skills practically, and reduce the relative time for midterm and final exams. General, in addition to focusing on developing research and teamwork skills.
The Minister explained that Egypt's integrated language schools are innovative schools that use advanced technology in education and offer an advanced educational curriculum that reflects the adoption of a modern and effective educational curriculum. They are also schools with an extended day.
For his part, Major General Khaled Abdel-Al, Governor of Cairo, stressed that Egypt’s integrated language schools are a model of the state’s interest in developing education and creating a distinguished generation capable of keeping pace with global changes, in light of Egypt’s Vision 2030, as these schools apply life values and skills practically, in addition to focusing on Developing research, teamwork and language learning skills.
The Governor of Cairo pointed out that the state’s interest in education is a fundamental pillar and one of the strategic goals of the “Decent Life” initiative, which the political leadership has adopted 10 years ago, stressing that the quality of education is part of the quality of life that the state seeks to provide to citizens.
It is worth noting that these schools are characterized by the application of a full-day system for students, and they are also distinguished by the application and implementation of curricula in accordance with international standards, and education based on creativity, and the study system in them depends on allocating 80% to activities and 20% to tests, in addition to focusing on peer education and building the student’s personality. In addition, its tuition fees are commensurate with middle-income families.
