Mr. Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education of the Arab Republic of Egypt, participated in a high-level dialogue session titled "Enabling Labor Market Match and Workforce Readiness" as part of the Human Capacity Development Conference held in Riyadh under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and organized by the Ministry of Education in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The session, held today, brought together a number of policymakers, education experts, and private sector leaders from various countries. Participants included Laura Frigenti, CEO of the Global Partnership for Education; Laila Mohamed Mousa, Minister of Education and Vocational Training of Zanzibar; Ahmed Alhenidawi, Regional Director for the Middle East, North Africa, and Eastern Europe at Save the Children; and Dr. Ibrahim Saad Almojil, Co-Founder of Al-Khawarizmi Holding Company in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Participants in the session discussed ways to develop a workforce prepared for the future and mechanisms for aligning investment in education with the changing needs of the labor market, enhancing youth's readiness to meet the challenges of the future work environment.

During his remarks, Minister Mohamed Eid El-Latif emphasized the importance of building a flexible and interconnected education system based on basic education and supporting the acquisition of practical skills, achieving a balance between individual aspirations and the needs of comprehensive national development.

The Minister also praised the pivotal role of regional and international cooperation in exchanging expertise and developing educational policies that keep pace with the changing times.

Participation in this session reflects Egypt's vision of strengthening international partnerships and contributing to the development of educational visions and policies that support the building of human capital capable of adapting to the successive changes in the labor market.
