Within the framework of the continuous follow-up of the educational process in the various governorates of the Republic, Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education, arrived this Saturday morning at the headquarters of the General Office of Port Said Governorate, in order to follow up on the discipline of the end-of-year exams for the 2023/2024 academic year.

Upon his arrival at the governorate’s general office, the minister was received by Major General Adel Al-Ghadban, Governor of Port Said, Dr. Engineer Amr Othman, Deputy Governor, Dr. Mansour Bakry, Secretary-General of the Governorate, Dr. Hala Abdel Salam, Head of the Central Administration for Public Education, and Professor Khaled An Abdel Hakam, Head of the Central Administration for Directorate Affairs. Education, Dr. Muhammad Abdel Tawab, Director of the Governorate’s Directorate of Education, Dr. Mahmoud Hajjaj, Director General of the General Administration of Communication and Support, and Dr. Atef Alam El-Din, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Parents and Teachers, and Member of the Senate.

Dr. Reda Hegazy expressed his happiness at visiting Port Said Governorate, appreciating the governorate’s role in improving the educational process, and its efforts in controlling and regularizing the academic year 2023/2024, and the conduct of transfer exams.

For his part, Major General Adel Al-Ghadban, Governor of Port Said, welcomed the visit of the Minister of Education and Technical Education, praising the efforts of Dr. Reda Hegazy in developing and controlling the educational system.

During the meeting, it was also reassured about the discipline and proper conduct of exams for transportation classes for the academic year 2023/2024, and that the governorate provided final reviews for the preparatory and secondary certificates.

The Minister and the Governor are scheduled to inspect the first and second year secondary school exams.

A meeting will also be held with education leaders and directors of educational departments in the governorate. To review the procedures related to the discipline of conducting end-of-year examinations.

The Minister and Governor also witness the closing ceremony of championships and competitions for students of special education and integration schools nationwide, at the Port Said International Integrated Language School.
