"Education" announces the names of the winning students and their winning scientific projects in the local qualifiers in the Science and Engineering Competition "ISEF")

the Ministry of Education and Technical Education announced the end of the activities of the local qualifications in the Science and Engineering Competition “ISEF”, which was organized by the General Administration of E-Learning in the Quality and Information Technology Sector, in the Education City, 6th of October; This is in line with the ministry’s efforts to build an integrated system to nurture and discover talented students in various fields.
Dr. Fathia Khairy, Director General of the General Administration of E-Learning, conveyed in her speech the greetings of Dr. Tarek Shawky, Minister of Education and Technical Education to the students, and thanked him for his support and care for these students, noting the important role played by the Ministry in enriching and developing students’ technological skills and enhancing their creativity, stressing On the ability of the Egyptian student to continue to progress in science.
Dr. Fathia Khairi confirmed that this competition is one of the strongest international competitions in the field of science and engineering for researchers for secondary school students, and is one of the largest scientific competitions, noting that this competition depends on possessing scientific research skills to reach a new project that contributes to solving a problem in one of the scientific fields By following the correct scientific research methodology, she pointed out that the winners are nominated to participate in the international competition, which includes more than 80 countries around the world.
Dr. Fathia Khairi explained that the competition this year took place at the level of 18 governorates, and took place in two phases. The first phase was conducted online with 245 projects at the level of 13 governorates, and the second phase was filtered to 97 projects, where students presented their projects, arbitration and projects were filtered to 9 projects, to represent Egypt abroad.
Dr. Fathia Khairi addressed the students, saying that this competition is important and the escalation in it is for the superior and the most superior, and the students who were unsuccessful in this competition intend to achieve their goal next time, without changing their confidence in themselves, or the ability to succeed, searching for weaknesses and working on them.
During the meeting, the results of the competition were announced and the students won: Muhammad Sabry, Mayar Mustafa Ali, Ahmed Swilam Judeh, Sama Muhammad Fathi, Ahmad Yasser Sayed, Mennat Allah Muhammad Ahmad, Ahmad Ayman Muhammad, Hajar Atef Ibrahim, Sama Sayed Muhammad Ahmad Haitham Eid, Shahd Muhammad Fathi, Zine El Abidine Ali Khalaf, Abdullah Jamal Mustafa, Alaa Ezz El Din Jalal, and Shahd Ahmed Mohamed
Names of the winning projects: From Menoufia governorate (CCBL-2 project), Giza governorate (developed ecosystem project), Red Sea governorate (microbial water desalination cells), Qalyubia governorate with (Hydro Saqeer project), and Sharkia governorate (first filtration project) Carbon dioxide for passive smokers), Assiut Governorate with a project (studying the protein composition of spider silk and applications in wound healing), Ismailia Governorate with a project (integration of mechanical and chemical treatment in the hydrological cycle of the paper and pulp industry), and Giza Governorate with a project (water treatment by agricultural waste and its effect on soil fertility ), and Minya Governorate project (Green Flour)
