Dr. Mohamed Megahed, Deputy Minister of Education and Technical Education, said that the Center of Excellence for the Engineering Industries Sector was established in partnership with the Chamber of Engineering Industries, and a group of companies in the same sector, namely Siemens Mobility, DMG More, Tanta Motors, Bavaria Egypt and the Egyptian Company for Auto Feeding Industries. With the support of the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ).
Mujahid added that the centers of excellence are a new model for technical education schools, based on the partnership between the Ministry of Education and Technical Education, and a number of industrial partners in the same sector; To ensure that students acquire all the skills that fully qualify them for the labor market, pointing out that the center includes three specializations (metal operation, mechanical maintenance, and industrial control electricity).
Dr. Amr Basileh, Head of the Central Administration for the Development of Technical Education and Director of the Operational and Management Unit for Applied Technology Schools, explained that the application to join the center’s work team is available to workers in government and government schools in languages ​​and the educational departments and directorates specified for the Center for Excellence in the Engineering Industries Sector from the governorates of Cairo, Giza and Qalyubia, provided that It is available to apply for posts of teachers of cultural subjects from teachers of general and technical education, and it is available to apply for posts for technical specialists only for teachers of technical education.
He added that many advantages will be provided to the employees of the Engineering Industries Excellence Center, such as providing technical training at an international level by accredited experts, obtaining many financial incentives related to performance, providing continuous high-quality technical training by experts, and obtaining many practical experiences that contribute In building a distinguished scientific center.
Basileh stressed the need for applicants to pass exams and personal interviews to join the Center of Excellence, and applicants will be contacted as soon as the application window closes via e-mail or phone, to set dates for exams and personal interviews.
