"Education" honors students who achieved advanced positions in the International English Language Olympiad "HIPPO 2021"
the Ministry of Education and Technical Education organized a celebration to honor outstanding and outstanding students who participated in the International Olympiad of the English Language, and achieved advanced positions in the world, at the Ministry’s General Office, in cooperation with Idiometer Egypt to organize international scientific competitions.
Dr. Reda Hegazy, Deputy Minister for Teachers’ Affairs, expressed his happiness and pride in the Egyptian students who made a lot of effort and competed with their peers around the world, and proved that they are capable of global competition, achieving global competitiveness in education, which is targeted by Egypt’s Vision 2030, which aims to prepare a student capable of competitiveness and excellence. and creativity.
Dr. Reda Hegazy added that this is consistent with the development of new education and focus on building the Egyptian character to raise generations capable of change and modernization, and this proves that Egyptian education is strong and able to compete with the strongest countries, hoping that there will be continuity of this success and the emergence of many genius students and the support of companies for these students.
During her speech, Dr. Randa Shaheen, Head of the Public Education Sector, expressed her pride in the participating students, saying that you are heroes and we are proud of you and raised the flag of your country, Egypt, to assure the world that Egypt is still its beacon of science thanks to you, and that we return once again to the leadership not only at the regional level but at the level Global.
Dr. Ayman Helmy, a member of the board of directors of Idiometer Egypt for organizing international scientific competitions, confirmed that the Egyptian company is based on its vision to achieve Egypt’s Vision 2030 in reaching global competitiveness, which supports the ministry in achieving global leadership, as it gives the opportunity to school students from the first grade to the third secondary in The competition of world students in educational subjects such as mathematics, English, science and computer, which supports Egyptian students in proving their scientific competence, achieving global centers and forming teams that represent Egypt in international forums.
At the end of the celebration, the winning students were honored and certificates of appreciation and gifts were presented for their excellence and motivation. The student Shahd Wael Mohamed Ahmed Abdel Wahab won the first place in the world at Narmer Modern School in Giza, and the student Maryam Mohamed Ibrahim Al Rasd at Victoria College School in Alexandria also won the first place. Student Loujain Ahmed Mohamed Mohamed Ali at the Future Generation International School won third place in the world. Student Mohannad Assem Amin Abu Al-Ghar at Victoria College School in Maadi in Cairo won fourth place in the world. Student Nour Wael Ali Qutb at the Egyptian Nile School in Minya won the seventh place in the world. The eighth student Mahmoud Abdel-Aty Mohamed Rady at the School of Excellence for Science and Technology in Beni Suef, the eighth place was won by the student Rimaz Khaled Mohamed Hanafy at Saqr Quraish Official Language School in Cairo, and the tenth place was won by the student Iyad Moataz Youssef at Saqqara Language School in Giza, and the eleventh place was won by the student Khaled Mohamed Khaled at the School of Languages Pioneers of the future joint languages in Cairo.

It is worth noting that the International English Language Olympiad is the 2022 season, the tenth globally, and the third locally, with 54 countries participating, and the qualifiers will be held in Sharm El-Sheikh next June.
