The Ministry of Education and Technical Education announced the evaluation methods and controls for first and second secondary school students for the academic year 2021-2020.
The controls are as follows:
- The average score obtained by the student in the April and May examinations represents the result of the second semester, and is calculated by 100% of the maximum score for the subject on the condition that the student attends the first semester exam and takes the supplementary exam (in the event that a supplementary exam is scheduled for him).

- Examinations are held in bulk (in April and May) with the same number of questions prescribed for each subject and contained in Circular Number 9 on 3/24/2021, with a multiple choice type, provided that the answer is the same question paper (not Babel Sheet) and each student is provided with a sheet of it. Basic concepts and laws of the subject as an alternative to accompanying the textbook.

- The student who fails to sit for the first semester exam, a supplementary exam will be held before the exam scheduled at the end of April, with (15) multiple-choice questions for each separate subject and within a time of (an hour), and it is held by the school so that the number of subjects does not exceed three Subjects per day, and the performance of the supplementary exam is a prerequisite for announcing the student’s second semester result.

- The student who encountered any technical problem that did not enable him to take the exam in the first semester in any subject that the result of this subject is considered (passing) regardless of the grade obtained by the report of the result of the first semester.

- In the event that the final result of the student appears and the result indicator is in the gray area (weak) in one or more subjects, he has the right to take the second round exam.

Examinations for subjects that are not added to the total are held by the school after the May exams at the school level and under the supervision of the educational administration. They are examined in the curriculum and syllabus of the second semester only.
