An expanded meeting to discuss the Early Childhood Development and Sustainable Upbringing Project)

In light of the presidential initiative, A New Beginning for Human Development, and based on the assignments of Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health and Population, an important meeting was held today, headed by Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr. Maya Morsi, Minister of Social Solidarity, and Mr. Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, to discuss the executive steps of the Early Childhood Development and Sustainable Upbringing Project Strategy.

The meeting was attended by Eng. Ahmed Daher, Deputy Minister of Education, Prof. Dr. Mohamed El-Tayeb, Deputy Minister of Health and Population and Head of the Technical Secretariat of the Ministerial Group for Human Development, Prof. Dr. Abla El-Alfy, Deputy Minister of Health and Population, Eng. Margaret Saroufim, Deputy Minister of Social Solidarity, Prof. Dr. Osama Talaat, Acting Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Culture, and Mr. Mustafa Magdy, Assistant Minister of Youth and Sports.

The meeting discussed the strategic vision of the project and the proposed executive plan to activate the program, within the framework of the "New Beginning" initiative that aims to build the Egyptian person, in parallel with the government's work program to achieve human development goals. The focus was on children from early childhood (from 0 to 6 years), and sustainable development for children and youth (from 6 to 18 years).

This meeting comes as an important step towards achieving the national goals of enhancing the role of childhood and upbringing in building a generation capable of facing the challenges of the future, in line with the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and Egypt's Vision 2030.
