The Minister of Education congratulates the Egyptian students who won the International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF))

Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education, extended his sincere congratulations and appreciation to the Egyptian student team; Who won the second and third place globally, in addition to winning four special awards, during their participation in the International Science and Engineering Fair "Regeneron_ISEF" in Dallas, Texas, USA, which was held from May 13 to May 20, 2023.

The minister praised the Egyptian students for winning and achieving advanced positions, and achieving victory globally, expressing his appreciation, pride and pride in them for the success they achieved in innovative projects, indicating that they represent a role model for all students, and he also stressed that the ministry's strategy aimed at discovering students' talents, developing and investing them Provides the opportunity to present many distinguished and creative models in various fields.

The two students, Mohamed Hamada and Youssef Hassan, at the Outstanding School for Science and Technology, Obour, Qalyubia Governorate, won the second place in the world in the field of embedded systems for their "talking gloves" project.

The two students, Shahd Noah and Sama Noah, at the School of Excellence for Science and Technology in Sharkia Governorate, won the third place in the world in the field of behavioral sciences for the project “Developing Communication in Autistic Children Using a Phone Application.” The two students also won two awards: a scholarship from the University of Arizona and the second from American Physiological Association

The two students, Noureddine Shaaban, and Ibram Wadih, at the School of Excellence for Science and Technology in Sharkia, for their green transport project (reducing energy consumption and harnessing wind energy in vehicles) in the field of energy, received two awards, a grant from King Faisal University, and a grant from the University of Arizona.

It should be noted that the Science and Engineering Competition (ISEF) is one of the strongest international competitions that are held annually in this field. It is concerned with the field of scientific research in 20 areas that include the fields of engineering, computer science, sociology, and others. It is held for researchers in the secondary education stage, from the age of 14 to 18 years. Where 28 students were selected for international representation through several preliminary and local competitions that took place throughout Egypt, through 3 exhibitions in the governorates (Cairo, Upper Egypt, and Alexandria), under the supervision of the General Administration for E-Training of the Central Administration for the Management and Operation of Education Technology. They have also been rehabilitated and their communication skills raised to display their projects efficiently in the international exhibition.
