Mr. Mohammed Abdul Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, received Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Egypt and Permanent Representative to the League of Arab States, to discuss opportunities for joint cooperation between the two countries in the field of pre-university education.

At the beginning of the meeting, Minister Mohammed Abdul Latif welcomed Ambassador Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal, praising the historical and strong relations between Egypt and Bahrain in many fields, especially education, as the education file is one of the files that receives the attention of the two brotherly countries, expressing his aspiration for more fruitful cooperation, in addition to the importance of exchanging experiences and successful experiments in developing the pre-university education system.

For her part, Ambassador Fawzia bint Abdullah expressed her happiness with this meeting, praising the close relations and joint projects between the two countries, and her pride in the development of the fraternal relations between the two countries, and the mutual keenness to enhance cooperation and joint coordination, in addition to her aspiration to achieve integration with the Egyptian Ministry of Education in a way that serves the interests of the two countries and enhances the quality of pre-university education.

The meeting discussed a number of important topics in light of the cooperation between Egypt and the Kingdom of Bahrain in the field of developing pre-university education, and the importance of enhancing cooperation in applied technology schools in areas of common interest to both brotherly countries, according to the needs of the labor market and in cooperation with Bahraini companies in Egypt.

At the end of the meeting, the two parties stressed the importance of continuing dialogue and cooperation between Egypt and the Kingdom of Bahrain to achieve common goals in the field of pre-university education, which contributes to achieving sustainable development and raising the level of education in the two countries.
