The Minister of Education follows up on the start of the second semester)

Mr. Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, conducted a surprise inspection tour today in a number of schools in Dakahlia Governorate; to follow up on the start of the second semester, the regularity of the educational process, adherence to the decisions regulating the educational process, and achieving a safe and stable educational environment.

The Minister was accompanied during his tour by Dr. Ahmed Al-Mohammadi, Assistant Minister for Strategic Planning and Follow-up.

The Minister began his inspection tour by visiting the "Martyr Nabil Bakr Elementary School" in Sahragt Al-Kubra in the Mit Ghamr Education Administration, which includes 694 male and female students in the primary stage, where the Minister was keen to attend the morning assembly and listen to the school radio among the school students, then inspected the classrooms to ensure the regularity of students in the classrooms and their attendance rates.

During his inspection of the classrooms, the Minister was informed of the nature of the student density in the school, and talked to some teachers and students about the evaluation system.

Following that, the Minister headed to inspect the "Saad El-Din Sherif Secondary School" in the Mit Ghamr Education Administration, which includes 1,031 male and female students. During his inspection of the classes, the Minister was keen to listen to the students' opinions about the extent to which they benefited from the explanation inside the classroom and their benefit from the weekly assessments during the first semester.

Following that, the Minister continued his tour by visiting the "Mit Ghamr Basic Education School" in the Mit Ghamr Education Administration, which includes 514 male and female students in the primary stage and 689 male and female students in the preparatory stage. The Minister closely reviewed the students' commitment to preparing the class notebooks and reassured the students' attendance rates.

The Minister was also keen to visit the Mit Ghamr Girls Technical Secondary School (under construction) to follow up on the construction work that has been implemented at the school.

As part of his tour, Minister Mohamed Abdel Latif visited the "Aga Official Languages" School in the Aga Education Administration, which includes 688 male and female students in kindergarten, primary and preparatory stages. The Minister was keen to ensure that there was no shortage in the number of teachers. He also reviewed the student density rates in the classes, and was keen to follow up on the students' level of reading. He listened to the opinions of some teachers about the weekly evaluations. At the end of his inspection of the school, the Minister praised the level of the educational system in the school and its discipline.

As part of the tour, the Minister headed to inspect the "Aga Elementary Complex" School in the Aga Education Administration, which includes 2,241 male and female students. During his inspection of the classes, he was keen to follow up on the students' level of reading, directing attention to the students' level and the cleanliness and planting of the school yard.

The Minister concluded his tour by inspecting the "Aga Experimental Preparatory School for Boys", which includes 1,138 students, where he inspected a number of classrooms and reviewed the grades and absence records.
