The Minister of Education congratulates the first fully blind student for obtaining the preparatory certificate

Dr. Tariq Shawky, Minister of Education and Technical Education, congratulated student Malak Ramadan Fathi, the first fully blind student to pass the preparatory certificate exam in all subjects on the laptop, and obtained a total of 265.5 degrees.

Malak, a student at Zohoor Al-Yasmeen Language School in Maadi, was able to defy her circumstances, conquer the walls of her disability, obtain the highest grades in the preparatory certificate, and take the same exam as her peers, not the integration exam.

Dr. Hala Abdel Salam, Head of the Central Department for Special Education Affairs, said that in the first semester, the student submitted a request to the Department of Special Education with her desire to take the exams with complete independence without the help of anyone, noting that it was presented to His Excellency the Minister, who expressed his encouragement and immediate approval. And understanding of the capabilities of our children with visual impairments.

She explained that cooperation was made with the Baseera Foundation to support people with visual impairments, and the formation of a support team from student affairs, examinations, and the General Mathematics Director at the Directorate of Education in Cairo.
