During his first meeting with education leaders after assuming the position of Minister of Education and Technical Education
Today, Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education, held a meeting with the leaders of the Ministry and its affiliated bodies, to discuss their work tasks and the role assigned to them, and the Ministry's plan to develop education.
At the beginning of his speech, Dr. Reda Hegazy expressed his thanks, greetings and appreciation to Dr. Tariq Shawky, the former Minister of Education and Technical Education, who laid the cornerstone for developing the educational process, and for the efforts made in the previous stage of its development.
Dr. Reda Hijazi welcomed the leaders, stressing the importance of the solidarity and cooperation of all education workers; To complete the work process in the same spirit and with the participation of all the competent authorities in the institutional work and the decision-making process, saying: “There is no change in the philosophy of the educational system, and we are all partners in completing this effort, and every member of the ministry has a responsibility to develop the educational process, in line with the leadership’s directives.” political and strategic plan of the state.
He stressed that based on the instructions of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, we will work to complete the process of developing the educational system and work with the policy of dialogue, with the participation of parents and students; To realize the extent of the effort exerted in developing the educational process, which is reflected in the technological infrastructure in schools and educational platforms, question banks, the competencies of technical education curricula, teacher training, new curricula, and other efforts made by the Ministry during the past years.
The minister pointed out the political leadership's interest in talented and talented people and providing them with all aspects of support and care. Directed in cooperation with the specialized authorities to discover them.
The minister stressed that the teacher is the main pillar in developing and activating the educational process, as there is no development without upgrading the teacher's performance, and training him to be able to deliver information to the student and enable him to perform performing tasks according to the curriculum.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Dr. Reda Hegazy indicated that we have many ideas and tasks that we will do our best to implement without excluding anyone, as what has been built must be invested and completed.
