Mr. Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, conducted a surprise inspection tour of schools in Menoufia Governorate this morning. This tour is part of his ongoing field visits to monitor the regularity of the educational process, assess the implementation of instructions and decisions regulating the educational process, and ensure the provision of a suitable learning environment for students.

The Minister was accompanied during the tour by Dr. Ahmed El-Mohammadi, Assistant Minister for Strategic Planning and Follow-up.

The Minister began his tour of Menoufia Governorate with a visit to the "Bi Al-Arab Elementary School for Girls" affiliated with the Bagour Education Directorate, which has 263 students.

During the visit, the Minister inspected the regularity of classes in the classrooms, the level of general discipline, and the density of student attendance. He also reviewed homework and class workbooks.

The Minister also held direct discussions with the school principal and teachers to learn about the reality of the educational process within the school and the mechanisms for evaluating students. He praised the attendance rate and the implementation of rules governing absences, which ensure seriousness and discipline. The Minister visited the Bey El Arab Elementary School, affiliated with the Bagour Education Directorate, which has 639 students.

The Minister inspected several classrooms, reviewing homework and class notebooks, teachers' notebooks, attendance sheets, and grades. He also checked on the students' reading and comprehension levels, appreciating the students' academic achievement and the commitment to providing support to maximize their learning.

The tour also included inspecting the science lab during a fourth-grade science class. The Minister reviewed the students' homework and class notebooks to ensure they benefited from the teacher's explanations.

The Minister also met with a number of parents in front of the school, where they discussed the educational process within the school. He emphasized the importance of active parental participation in monitoring their children's academic progress and working together with the school. He highlighted the role of the family in promoting educational values ​​and encouraging children to achieve academic excellence.

Parents, for their part, praised the decisions regulating the current academic year and emphasized their commitment to ensuring their children's attendance, learning, and interaction with teachers.

Following this, the Minister visited the Martyr Mohamed Reda Wagid Farag Preparatory School for Boys, affiliated with the Bagour Education Directorate, which enrolls 595 students.

The Minister inspected the teachers' room, where he was keen to engage in a direct dialogue with the teachers about the decisions and mechanisms regulating the educational process. The teachers praised this, saying it enhances the quality of the educational process and raises the level of academic achievement. The Minister also ensured that the questionnaire seeking parents' opinions on the Egyptian Baccalaureate or General Secondary Education system had been distributed.

The Minister also inspected a number of classrooms, where he monitored student performance and reviewed homework and class notes, teachers' notebooks, and grade records.

The Minister concluded his inspection tour of Menoufia Governorate with a visit to the Martyr Major Pilot Mohamed Adel Shebl Abbas Secondary School, affiliated with the Bagour Education Directorate. The school has 2,781 students.

The Minister inspected several first- and second-year secondary school classes and checked on the students' academic performance and progress by reviewing their homework and class notes. He also conducted a comprehensive review of the students' grade sheets.

The Minister praised the students' regular attendance at the school and expressed his appreciation for the teachers' efforts in providing support and supervision of the educational process, stressing that this is one of the most important factors in the success of the educational system and achieving its desired goals.

During the Minister's visit to the school, an open dialogue took place between the Minister and a number of students, during which he discussed their assessments of the curriculum and examination system, as well as their future aspirations. The students demonstrated positive interaction and presented ambitious visions for their educational and professional futures.

The Minister spoke with the students about the important role of technology in the future, emphasizing that learning and adapting to technological developments has become imperative in our current era. He explained that technology has become an integral part of every aspect of life, opening up new opportunities in various fields.

In a humanitarian gesture, outstanding student Ahmed Mustafa Mahmoud, who ranked first in his school, asked to take a commemorative photo with His Excellency the Minister. This request was warmly welcomed, as the Minister commended the student's excellence and encouraged him to continue to excel.
