Joint Statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Education

In implementation of the cooperation protocol signed between Dr. Badr Abdel-Aty, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs, and Mr. Mohamed Abdel-Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, regarding the "Your School in Egypt" initiative to provide interactive classrooms for the children of Egyptians abroad according to the Egyptian curriculum, Ambassador Nabil Habashi, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs, and Dr. Ahmed Daher, Deputy Minister of Education and Technical Education, visited the Ministry of Education and Technical Education's pavilion at the Cairo ICT exhibition at the Egypt International Exhibition Center in New Cairo on Wednesday, November 19, 2025. The "Your School in Egypt" platform and application, which will be launched on a trial basis in December 2025, were showcased.

The initiative aims to provide distinguished educational services to the children of Egyptians abroad, facilitating their study of the Egyptian curriculum on par with Egyptian students residing in Egypt. This will be achieved through highly qualified and experienced teachers, utilizing the latest technological methods, and strengthening their cultural and educational connection to their homeland.

It was decided to pilot this initiative in one of the Gulf Arab states to allow Egyptian students and their parents residing there to evaluate the performance of these interactive classes. This will enable a comprehensive assessment of the experience and the incorporation of any modifications or suggestions received from parents or students to improve and develop the program before its wider rollout to all Egyptian students abroad. These interactive classes will serve as free review sessions for the mid-year exams scheduled for mid-January 2026.

Following this pilot, the platform and application will be officially launched on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs, as well as on all social media pages of the diplomatic and consular missions of the Arab Republic of Egypt abroad, and on the websites of the Ministry of Education and Technical Education and the Egyptian Students Abroad website.
