Head of Egypt's Future Authority and Minister of Education Continue Efforts to Develop Technical Education
As part of efforts to strengthen cooperation between state institutions to achieve sustainable development goals, Dr. Bahaa El-Ghannam, Head of Egypt's Future Authority for Sustainable Development, received Mr. Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, at the Authority's headquarters to discuss the latest developments in joint cooperation to develop the technical education system, particularly agricultural and vocational secondary schools.
During the meeting, Mr. Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education, reviewed the Ministry's vision for modernizing technical education and upgrading its programs to meet labor market demands. He emphasized that Egypt's Future Authority represents an advanced model for practical applications that can provide students with real-world field experience within strategic agricultural and industrial projects. This presents an opportunity to build partnerships that contribute to the development of agricultural and vocational technical schools and enable students to train in advanced production environments.
For his part, Dr. Al-Ghannam affirmed that the agency places technical education at the forefront of its priorities, based on a firm conviction that preparing qualified technical personnel is a cornerstone for ensuring the sustainability of state projects. He noted that the agency is working to open new avenues of cooperation with national educational institutions to support the development of practical curricula and enhance the efficiency of training within the agency's production sites.
The meeting also addressed mechanisms for implementing joint programs aimed at integrating students into the real work environment and involving them in the agency's projects according to the needs of their technical specializations. Additionally, the possibility of establishing modern training centers within the scope of Egypt's Future Projects to enhance the technical capabilities of young people was discussed.
