Dr. Reda Hegazy expressed his happiness with this meeting, and thanked the Future of the Nation Party for this invitation, praising the party’s role in supporting the educational process, describing them as the popular backers of the ministry, and appreciating their service role, and their being partners in decision-making; For the benefit of our students, stressing that the ministry is working to combine all efforts and cooperate with all institutions concerned with the development of education in Egypt.
The minister said: "The state is adopting an ambitious plan to reform pre-university education, to shift from education to learning, pointing out that the ministry is making tangible achievements to contribute to building the Egyptian person through a modern education system that meets the latest international standards and developing the teaching and learning process to ensure the achievement of students to real learning outcomes while integrating and making the most of modern technology in improving the quality of the educational process.”
Dr. Reda Hegazy reviewed the ministry’s future vision for the development of education, noting that the President launched the strategy of building the Egyptian person in 2018, in the interest of his sovereignty and the Egyptian state to learn our children better, to produce knowledge, skills and competencies, and to provide students with personal traits that qualify them for lifelong learning, and this It is in line with all global agreements, the fourth and fifth industrial revolution, digital transformation and education for the future.
The minister stressed that developing education is an inevitable necessity, pointing out the need to discover talented and talented people, as they are those who can make a difference in the future, until we reach education that produces creativity.
The Minister also stressed that the building and development that has taken place must be completed; To achieve development with tangible steps on the ground, which requires the awareness of society and officials to manage change, noting that it is necessary to complete the development to achieve the added value and speed it up to obtain the gains of this development, especially the implementation of mechanisms on the ground through international curricula, a distinguished teacher, and high-level schools To be a supportive environment for them, all with the cooperation and support of parents.
The minister pointed out the need to benefit from successful models such as Nile schools, which include curricula approved by Cambridge, and STEM schools, which are among the bright spots in Egyptian education and contain integration between curricula and scientific research methods in the field of technology, mathematics and research projects, so their students became ambassadors for these schools globally, in addition to To Japanese schools that train students in discipline, pedagogy, discipline, commitment and responsibility.
The minister said: “Education is the responsibility of a society and not the responsibility of a specific ministry, and building the Egyptian person is the responsibility of several ministries, which are integrated with each other, for example, the Ministry of Youth and Sports cooperates with Education in implementing the Sports Day and helping to discover sports talents, shed light on them and sponsor them, As well as cooperation with the Ministry of Culture through cultural activities.
Dr. Reda Hegazy also touched on the preparations for the new school year and the integration of technology of all kinds into the educational process through the application of viewing periods for educational channels "Our School (1, 2, 3)" at various stages of education, which will contribute effectively to providing sufficient time; To engage in activities of all kinds, and to contribute to discovering and nurturing talented people.
The Minister pointed out the importance of providing an appropriate work environment for teachers; It is distinguished by respect and appreciation, befits their distinguished position, and ensures that they perform their lofty message in an optimal manner, noting that in the celebration of Teacher's Day, the "I am the teacher" initiative will be announced, through which services will be provided to the teacher, and the initiative of the President of the Republic to select and train 1,000 young teachers ; To receive a distinguished training program to become school principals, as well as honoring a number of distinguished teachers with inspiring stories.
As for the high school exams, the minister explained that the specifications of the exam will be announced so that the student is optimally prepared for them, in addition to training 5,000 teachers on the new system, teaching practices and how to prepare test vocabulary at this level.
For his part, Engineer Ashraf Rashad said: "Education is the basis of the nation's renaissance, advancement and progress, and the locomotive of real development, noting that the party is ready to provide all aspects of support to the Egyptian state institutions to develop education."
Dr. Sami Hashem expressed his happiness at the meeting and congratulated Dr. Reda Hegazy for the confidence of the political leadership, stressing that we have always entrusted the cooperation of Dr. Reda Hegazy in the House of Representatives and the Senate, with his educational idea, stressing the party’s cooperation and support for the Ministry of Education in the next stage for the interest of the country and our students.
