The Minister of Education and the Governor of North Sinai continue their tour
Mr. Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, and Major General Dr. Khaled Megawer, Governor of North Sinai, continued their tour by visiting the "Egyptian Japanese School in Arish" and "Garada for Basic Education" schools in Sheikh Zuweid to follow up on the regularity of study in the governorate.
During the visit to the "Egyptian Japanese School" in Arish, which includes 164 male and female students, the Minister and the Governor inspected a number of classrooms to check on the educational process in the school, and kindergarten classes, and the Minister was keen to review the students' books to follow up on their academic achievement.
The Minister and the Governor also inspected the science lab while a teacher was conducting a practical experiment for fourth grade primary school students, where the Minister praised the teacher's explanation and her keenness to convey information to the students.
The Minister and the Governor also inspected the educational resources room at the school, which is designated for integration students and contains educational tools and all support tools to help students achieve academic achievement. They also inspected the school library and the physical education room while students were performing sports exercises.
Following that, the Minister and the Governor headed to visit "Jarada Elementary School" in Sheikh Zuweid City, which includes 233 male and female students. The Minister was keen to review the class notebooks and assignments, to verify the weekly assessments, and to reassure the students' level in reading and writing.
During his tour, the Minister praised the Arabic language teacher for her mastery of her work and the students' proficiency in Arabic language skills. The Minister and the Governor also listened to a student recite a poem, where the Minister praised the student and encouraged her to continue developing her talent.
At the end of his inspection tour of the schools, Minister Mohamed Abdel Latif praised the governorate's efforts to improve the educational process, stressing that meeting the governorate's needs is a priority for the ministry, noting that there are continuous efforts to support the educational process and provide all requirements that contribute to improving the quality of education in the governorate. For his part, the Governor of North Sinai praised all the efforts made by the Ministry of Education to develop the educational process, and the return of the school to its real role and attract students to it, to achieve a disciplined academic year, noting that the North Sinai Governorate is keen to achieve a good educational environment for students.
