The Minister of Education continues his ongoing tours by visiting Alexandria Governorate)

Mr. Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, arrived this morning at the headquarters of the General Office of Alexandria Governorate. This is within the framework of continuing his ongoing tours in the various governorates of the Republic. To follow up on the implementation of the Ministry’s plan to confront the challenges that hinder the improvement of the education system on the ground and preparations for the new academic year 2024/2025.

The Minister was received upon his arrival at the governorate’s general office, Lieutenant General Ahmed Khaled Hassan Saeed, Governor of Alexandria, Dr. Ahmed Daher, Deputy Minister, Dr. Ayman Bahaa El-Din Al-Bassal, Deputy Minister, Engineer Amira Salah, Deputy Governor, Dr. Iman Sharaf, Director of the Governor’s Office for Public Relations, the ministry’s leaders, and Dr. Arabi. Abu Zeid, Director of the Directorate of Education in Alexandria.

At the beginning of the meeting, Minister Mohamed Abdel Latif expressed his happiness at visiting Alexandria Governorate, stressing his keenness to strengthen cooperation with the governorate to confront various challenges and improve the educational process system in its various aspects.

For his part, Lieutenant General Ahmed Khaled Hassan Saeed, Governor of Alexandria, welcomed Minister Mohamed Abdel Latif and education leaders, stressing the harnessing of all the governorate’s capabilities in order to enhance cooperation with the Ministry in facing various challenges and improving the quality of education.

The Minister and the Governor are scheduled to hold a meeting with the directors of educational departments and a number of school principals in the governorate, to discuss the various proposals and mechanisms that have been developed to confront the challenge of student densities, fill the teacher shortage, and attract students to schools. The Minister and the governor will also inspect a number of school buildings in the governorate.
