Minister of Education arrives in Suez Governorate to review preparations for the new academic year
Mr. Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, arrived this morning at the headquarters of the General Diwan of Suez Governorate, as part of the ongoing tours in various governorates of the Republic, to review preparations for the new academic year and the mechanisms being implemented to address student densities, fill the deficit in teachers, and attract students to schools.
The Minister was received upon his arrival at the General Diwan of the Governorate by Major General Tariq Hamed El-Shazly, Governor of Suez, Dr. Abdullah Ramadan, Deputy Governor, Mr. Khaled Saadawi, Secretary General of the Governorate, Mr. Ahmed Waziri, Assistant Secretary General, Ministry leaders, and Mr. Yasser Amara, Director of the Suez Education Directorate.
At the beginning of the meeting, Mr. Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, stressed his keenness to continue tours in various governorates to ensure the readiness of educational directorates for the new academic year in light of the organizing mechanisms and decisions that were announced during the past period, appreciating the governorate's efforts in upgrading the educational system.
The Minister also stressed that the success of advancing the educational process lies in the combined efforts of all parties, including the teacher, the student and the guardian.
For his part, Major General Tariq Hamed El-Shazly welcomed Minister Mohamed Abdel Latif and the education leaders, stressing that the governorate is keen to provide full support to the education system to achieve the goals of sustainable development, and appreciating the Minister's keenness to make all possible efforts to face challenges and continue to improve and advance the quality of education.
The Minister and the Governor are scheduled to hold a meeting with the directors of educational departments and a number of school principals in the governorate, to stand on the mechanisms and solutions that will be implemented in the governorate to face the various challenges that the ministry is keen to overcome during the new academic year. The Minister and the Governor will also inspect the buildings of a number of schools in the governorate.
