"Education" and the German Chamber witness the certification ceremony for students of two schools of applied technology
The Ministry of Education and Technical Education and the German-Arab Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Cairo witnessed the accreditation ceremony for the certificates of graduates of the 2022 batch of Al-Suwaidi Secondary School for Applied Technology specialized in the fields of electricity and mechanics in Sharkia Governorate, and the School of Applied Technology for Mechatronics specialized in the field of mechatronics in Cairo Governorate, where students of both schools were awarded the Chamber’s certificate approved by Federation of German Chambers of Commerce and Industry.
The Ministry stated that by obtaining the Chamber's certificate, the ultimate goal of this joint cooperation is achieved, which is to verify the students' readiness for the labor market by measuring their excellence in terms of knowledge and competencies over a period of three years. Once the students pass the exams of the German Chamber, they are added to the Chamber's database, which helps them in the recruitment process through the Chamber's partners inside and outside the Arab Republic of Egypt.
It is worth noting that the Ministry of Education and Technical Education launched the Applied Technology Schools system in 2018, during which the study started with (3 schools only) in the governorates of Cairo and Menoufia, and the number of applied technology schools has now reached 2023.
(52 schools) in 14 governorates of the Republic (Cairo, Giza, Alexandria, Qalyubia, Menoufia, Dakahlia, Suez, Minya, Assiut, Sohag, New Valley, Port Said, Sharkia, Qena).
