The Ministry of Education and Technical Education announced the opening of the door for teachers and administrators to apply to join a work team at the Ghabbour 1 School for Applied Technology in May 15th, and Ghabbour 2 School for Applied Technology in 6th of October City, during the period from March 25, 2021 to April 15, 2021, through the official website of the Ministry of Education Education and Technical Education http://tawzef.emis.gov.eg

The two schools include a specialization in car maintenance (light vehicles), a specialization in repairing car bodies, and a specialization in painting car bodies. As for the maintenance of transport cars and buses, it will be applied in Ghabbour 1 School of Applied Technology only.

Dr. Muhammad Mujahid, Deputy Minister of Education for Technical Education Affairs, said that the two schools ’work team will be composed of employees of the Ministry of Education and Technical Education, directorates and educational departments, government and government schools, languages, and it will be possible to apply for jobs for teachers of cultural subjects from teachers and directors of general and technical education from employees of the education directorates. As for the specialized jobs, only technical education teachers and directors who work in the education directorates will be available.

Mujahid explained that those admitted will enjoy many advantages such as financial incentives, high-level technical training at the hands of certified experts, and work in a distinguished work environment that applies international standards.

In a related context, Dr. Amr Basilah, Head of the Central Administration for Technical Education Development and Director of the Applied Technology Schools Administration Operation Unit, said that all applicants who meet the conditions will be subjected to personal interviews at the Ministry of Education and Technical Education headquarters during the month of April. The tests are based on the delegation system from the work side to the school in which the application has been submitted.

Basilah explained that the ministry will cooperate with more private sector companies and include modern majors and fields that are applied for the first time in technical education schools. In order to develop the system of technical education and vocational training in Egypt, and to improve the quality of outputs and levels of professional skills that are applied in order to keep pace with international standards and meet the needs of the labor market of new professions and specializations and contribute to increasing employment rates for graduates of technical schools.
