In light of the directives of Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education, to raise students' awareness of the issue of climate change, its causes and its negative effects on humans, the environment and living organisms, and how to confront and limit them, in order to preserve the world from the effects resulting from it, the Egyptian Nile International School organized the "Jasmine Branch" A day of learning and enjoyment under the slogan "Get ready for green", keeping pace with world events at the twenty-seventh session of the Conference of the Parties (COP 27) of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.

Today's activities included the participation of elementary and middle school students in a simulation of what happened at the United Nations Climate Change Conference COP27; And making reports and campaigns to raise awareness of climate change, as well as informative boards, and making models of animals, some of which show the impact of climate change. During the presentation, students presented constructive proposals and solutions to confront climate change.

The day also included the participation of students in recycling waste "empty bottles" and turning them into flower pots and trash cans with the aim of reviving everything that is old and consumable, which enhances their idea of ​​sustainable development, as the students raised slogans including "No to littering" and "Yes to sustainable development." and “Stop the waste.”

The students gave a presentation in which they spoke at length about the Climate Change Summit in Sharm El-Sheikh, and about the solutions and proposals that have been developed in order to reduce the damages of climate change. Climate change).

Nile Schools students will participate in the "Environmental Schools" competition for each school, which is represented in the green fence, planting school roofs, growing organic products without chemicals, and using solar energy through sustainable energy panels.

The Nile International Secondary Certificate is an Egyptian certificate designed in accordance with international standards in partnership with the British University of Cambridge. It is equivalent to the secondary school certificate in the United Kingdom and is recognized globally.
