Dr. Tariq Shawky, Minister of Education and Technical Education, met today at the Ministry's general office, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Guinea Conakry, Dr. Ibrahim Khalil Kaba, and his accompanying delegation to discuss ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries in the educational field, and discussed several issues of common interest, in a way that achieves common interest. The two ministers discussed means of cooperation between the two countries and the use of Egyptian expertise and cooperation to develop the educational system in the Republic of Guinea Conakry, by raising the proficiency of teachers in the Arabic language, in addition to helping to develop curricula.

Dr. Tarek Shawky, Minister of Education and Technical Education, welcomed the attendees, indicating Egypt's interest in developing and strengthening cooperation with the Republic of Guinea Conakry in various fields, including the field of education, stressing that the field of education comes at an advanced stage on the list of priorities for cooperation between the two countries, especially after Egypt has made progress in In the recent period, this field is in addition to Egypt's willingness to cooperate with the Republic of Guinea in the field of developing education, and transferring expertise to it through various training programs.

During the meeting, the Minister of Education reviewed the new education system "2.0", which the ministry has launched since September 2018, and includes 8 million students from kindergarten to the third grade of primary education, as well as schools of applied technology, which are the latest models of technical education.

For his part, the Guinean minister praised the development of relations between the two countries, which have gained momentum since the historic visit of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to the Republic of Guinea in April 2019, stressing the great Guinean appreciation for the support that Egypt has provided and extended to Guinea in all fields, whether through grants. Provided by Egyptian educational institutions or training courses organized by the Egyptian Agency for Partnership for Development in cooperation with various Egyptian bodies.

During the meeting, the Minister of Guinean Education praised the support that Egypt has provided and provided to his country over long decades in various fields, including the field of education, expressing his aspiration to consolidate cooperation in this important and vital field in light of Egypt's wide experience, expressing his great appreciation for Egypt's pioneering experience In promoting the level of education, and its relentless endeavor to benefit from the Egyptian expertise to improve the level of education in Guinea in order to achieve the goals of community development in the country.

During the meeting, they discussed ways to enhance cooperation in the field of education, especially with regard to developing the linguistic, academic and educational capacities of Guinean teachers' cadres.
